鏡によつて走査させ、像担持体上に露光する走査
光学装置において、上記回転多面鏡と像担持体の
間に、走査方向に沿つた開口を有するスリツト部
材を配置するとともに、該スリツト部材と像担持
体の間に、スリツト部材を通過したビームを像担
持体上に結像するレンズを配置したことを特徴と
