Abstract

PURPOSE:To permit the indication of the amount of kerosene remaining in a reserved kerosene tank, or the estimation of a time permitting continuing combustion, at all times, by obtaining and indicating the remaining amount of kerosene from the weight of the reserved kerosene tank, which is detected by a weight detecting means. CONSTITUTION:An electrostatic capacity type weight sensor element 10, having an alumina diaphragm with the diameter of 24mm for example, is employed and when an extraordinary heavy weight is impressed on a support panel 9, a leaf spring 11 is bent, the tip end 17 of a holding metal 16 comes in contact with a tank 6 and a load, heavier than the weight, will never be impressed on a loading point 12. The electrostatic capacity of said sensor element is changed 53-65pF with respect to the change of the amount of kerosene of 0-5l whereby a change within 0.01-0.02pF can be detected stably with a simple circuit constitution. Accordingly, the change of the amount of kerosene of about 5-10cc may be detected stably and simply. Further, the amount of consumption of kerosene is about 2-5cc/min in a normal combustion condition, therefore, the decreasing amount of the kerosene may be detected every several minutes.

Therefore, the remaining amount of kerosene in the tank, such as a float, was activated only when the kerosene in the reserve tank ran out, that is, when the supply of kerosene from the reserve tank to the tank stopped. For this reason, although it depends on the tank volume, the time when kerosene runs out is approximately 3
The kerosene remaining level indicator did not work until about 0 minutes to 1 hour before the scheduled time.

FIG. 2 shows a sectional view of the reserve tank portion of the kerosene stove main body 2o. 6 is a kerosene tank for the kerosene stove 20, 7 is a kerosene reserve tank, and the lid 3 is opened and closed to open and close the kerosene stove 20.
Attach/detach. 8 is a valve of the reserve tank; 9 is a support plate for the reserve tank whose one end is rotatably fixed at a fulcrum 9; 1o is a weight sensor element having an alumina diaphragm; 11 is a leaf spring attached to the support plate 9; 12 13 is a load point fixed on the weight sensor element 1o, and 13 is a protrusion made of Teflon provided on the side wall to vertically support the reserve tank 7 on the support plate 9.

FIG. 3 is a perspective view of the support plate 9. 14 is spare tank 7
Through holes 16 are provided on both sides of the through hole 14 for passing the kerosene replenishment port, and show protrusions for receiving the weight of the reserve tank 7. A concave portion for receiving the protrusion 16 is provided on the reserve tank 7 side (not shown). Since the protrusions 16 are provided on both sides of the through hole 14, rotation of the support plate 9 of the reserve tank in the width direction is suppressed. Furthermore, rotation of the support plate 9 in the longitudinal direction is suppressed by the projections 13. Therefore, the weight of the reserve tank 7 can be accurately transmitted to the weight sensor element 10.

As the weight sensor element 10, a capacitive weight sensor element having an alumina diaphragm with a diaphragm diameter of φ24ff was used. When an abnormally large weight is applied to the support plate 9,
The leaf spring 11 is bent, the tip 17 of the holding fitting 16 contacts the tank 6, and no further load is applied to the load point 12.

Furthermore, since it has a detection ability of 6 to 10 CC, the kerosene consumption is approximately 2 to 6 cc under normal combustion conditions.
Since the amount of kerosene reduction can be detected at intervals of several minutes, it is possible to constantly monitor the combustion status as a combustion monitor, and it has been found that it is also possible to interrupt combustion if an abnormality in the rate of kerosene reduction is detected.
