ブラケツトと該ブラケツトに基端側を揺動自在に
枢支されるアームレスト本体とによつて構成され
、未使用時にアームレスト本体の揺動端側を上記
シートバツクに向けて跳ね上げられてシートバツ
クの収納部に収納される収納態位と、使用時にア
ームレスト本体の揺動端をシートのシートクツシ
ヨン側に倒されてアームレストとして使用される
使用態位とを有するアームレスト装置であつて、
上記アームレスト本体の揺動枢支点若しくはその
近傍に一端を固定されたばね部材と、該ばね部材
の他端と係合し、ばね部材に付勢された引張力に
よつてアームレスト本体に設けられた支持部の所
定位置に支持されると共にアームレスト本体の揺
動速度が所定値以上に達すると遠心力の作用によ
つて上記ばね部材の引張力に抗して上記揺動枢支
点を中心とした離心方向に移動する揺動規制部材
と、アームレスト本体が収納態位にある時の上記
揺動規制部材支持位置近傍の上記ブラケツト側に
設けられ、アームレスト本体が上記収納態位から
揺動状態に移行する際の初期の揺動速度が上記所
定値以上に達した時に上記離心方向に振り出され
た上記揺動規制部材と係合し、上記揺動規制部材
を介してアームレスト本体の揺動を制止する揺動
制止部とが設けられたことを特徴とするアームレ
