くは異種の補強用繊維糸条から成るヨコ糸2が適
宜タテ糸1と交錯しながら柱状に捲回して得られ
た中空柱状構造体中に得る熱硬化性樹脂、或いは
熱可塑性樹脂を夫々含浸せしめた中空柱状複合材
料成形物にある。

を充分に撥揮するものであり、内壁4は外壁と同
様長さ方向に異なる径を有する。この長さ方向に
径が異なる如く作成された複合材料成形物は、例
えば釣竿の如き一定長の長さの筒を順次継ぎ足し
て長尺の竿とする場合、非常に有利である。即ち
長径の筒にそれよりやや短径の筒を差し込んで継
ぐのに、両筒を大巾に切削して合致させる必要が
なく、表面のマトリツクス樹脂部分の切削で充分
差し込み接続が可能である。このため、補強用繊
維構造体を切損することなく継ぎ手部分の強度は
確保される。又、該補強用繊維糸条から成る構造
体は、単にタテ方向の補強のみならず中空柱状物
の周囲方向に対する補強が他にみられない程強固
であり、例えば従来釣竿を作る場合補強用繊維を
一方向に並べて含浸させたシート状物を芯体に捲
き併せて90゜方向に他のシート或いは織物を捲く
如き煩雑な作業を必要とせず、これがため成形作
業ミスによる竿の品質不良発生を大巾に減少させ
ることができる。又上記従来の釣竿ではシートを
幾層にも捲くため竿の厚みがある程度以上必要と
なつて来るのに反し、本考案による構造体を用い
た複合材料成形物ではいずれの個所をみても全て
の糸条が連続しており接合点がないため、該構造
体が一層でも充分補強効果が得られ、更に径の異
なる該構造体を二層以上に積層すればその効果は
飛躍的に増大する。
