おそれがあつた。 As is well known, in automatic opening umbrellas that are linked with the push of a push button to release the retracted state of the ball holder that stores the tip of the main rib in a converged state, the push of the first stage of the push button causes the repellent to open. The engagement between the first pawl and the ball holder is released, and the engagement between the lower potter's wheel and the second pawl of the repellent is released by the second stage of pushing, and the umbrella is fully opened. The first pawl, which has sunk into the middle rod by this first stage pushing movement, is prevented from protruding from the middle rod by the inner periphery of the sliding contact hole of the ball receiver's middle rod which has descended. Therefore, in this state, the amount of protrusion of the second claw is also reduced, and if an unexpected external force is applied to the push button, the push button will immediately open, which is extremely dangerous. In addition, even after the umbrella is opened, as long as the ball holder is in the lowered position, the second pawl is prevented from protruding, so there is a gap between the protrusion at the lower end of the repellent and the push button. There were problems such as the push button rattling inside the case. Furthermore, the lowering of the ball holder due to the first-stage pushing is automatically carried out by a spring fitted to the center rod to constantly urge the ball holder downward, but conventionally, the ball holder and the center rod are Since the spring is relatively rotatable, the spring and the spring holder of the ball holder are likely to come into sliding contact, causing wear, and there is a risk of damaging the spring.

An object of the present invention is to provide a safety device for an automatically opening Western umbrella which prevents damage to the spring and prevents damage to the spring. Therefore, its characteristic feature is that it has a ball holder and a lower potter's wheel that are slidably fitted onto the center rod, and a protrusion at the lower end of the repellent that has a first claw and a second claw that can freely come out and retract from the center rod. In an umbrella that opens automatically by releasing the engagement between the ball holder and the first pawl by the first stage of pushing, and by releasing the engagement between the lower potter's wheel and the second pawl by the second stage of pushing, the ball holder has the tip of the main rib. It has an upper-opening storage portion and a middle rod sliding contact hole on the same axis, and a tapered recess that expands upward is provided at the upper end of the sliding contact hole. The inner ends of the ribs are formed into an arc shape and are in sliding contact with the center rod, and the upper end surface of the ribs is fitted onto the center rod to urge the ball holder downward. The first pawl engages with the lower edge of the sliding hole when the ball holder is in the upper master rib storage position, and projects into the recess when the ball holder is in the lower storage release position. The lower surface of the protruding first pawl is formed into an inclined surface for tapered engagement with the tapered surface of the recess.

It is locked to. In order downward from this projection 6, it has a curved portion 7, a second claw 8, a first claw 9, and a protrusion 10 at the lower end. The curved portion 7 is curved so that the curved top comes into contact with the inner surface of the inner rod 1 on the opposite side from the repellent locking hole 4, and the elastic force of the curved portion 7 causes the second pawl 8 and the first pawl 9 The protrusion 10 protrudes from the slotted groove 3, and by pushing the protrusion 10 inward of the center rod 1 against this elastic force, the second claw 8 and the first claw 9 are slotted. It is configured to fit into the groove 3. Further, the second claw 8 has a protrusion amount sufficient to prevent the first claw 9 from sinking into the slotted groove 3.

The elastic force of the spring 13 urges the lower potter's wheel 11 upward through the mechanical connection between the lower potter's wheel 11, the middle potter's wheel, and the master rib 12. An engagement hole 14 is provided at the bottom of the lower potter's wheel 11, and the lower potter's wheel 1 is used to close the umbrella.
1 is moved downward, the engagement hole 14 and the second pawl 8 engage with each other in a detachable manner, restricting the upward movement of the lower potter's wheel 11 and maintaining the closed state.

An inclined surface 22 is formed. A plurality of ribs 23 are radially protruded from this recess 21, and the inner ends of the ribs 23 are in sliding contact with the center rod 1. As shown in FIG. 4, the tip of the rib 23 has a circular arc portion 24, and the circular arc portion 24 is in contact with the center rod 1. The upper end surface of the rib 23 serves as a spring receiving portion that supports the lower end of the spring 20.

The engagement hole 14 of the ball holder 15 engages with the second pawl 8, the lower end edge 25 of the sliding contact hole 17 of the ball holder 15 engages with the first pawl 9, and the tip of the master rib 12 is placed in the housing portion 16 of the ball holder 15. is stored.

is pushed, and the first pawl 9 sinks into the slotted groove 3. Therefore, the disengaged ball holder 15 begins to move downward by the elastic force of the spring 20. At the beginning of this movement of the ball holder 15, the first pawl 9 comes into contact with the inner surface of the sliding hole 17 and cannot protrude from the slotted groove 3.

Since the push button 28 maintains its normal protruding state without being pushed in, even if an unexpected external force is applied to the push button 28, the umbrella will not open immediately. Conventionally, the umbrella was not provided with a recess, so the umbrella was in the state shown in Figure 2, and the umbrella would open unexpectedly with the slightest external force. Moreover, even in the open state, the protrusion 10
presses the push button 28 outward, so the push button 28
does not rattle within the push button case 27, but conventionally the push button was in the state shown in FIG. 2, so it rattled. Furthermore, since the rib 23 is provided protruding from the recess 21, the sliding contact length of the sliding contact hole 17 becomes longer, and the ball holder 15
can be stably fitted onto the inner rod 1, and since the arc portion 24 is provided at the tip of the rib 23, the rib 23 and the first claw 9 come into contact and prevent the protrusion of the first claw 9. The ball holder 1 is also connected by the arc portion 24.
5 rotates a little, and this obstruction is resolved.

6 is provided, by moving the ball holder 15 upward, the first pawl 9 is recessed into the slotted groove 3, and the ball holder 15 is smoothly moved upward. Further, in the state shown in FIG. 3, the first pawl 9 and the rib 23 are engaged and the ball holder 15 is prevented from rotating relative to the center rod 1, so that the spring 20 and the ball holder 1
5 or the spring receiver 18 is prevented, and damage to the spring 20 is prevented.

Although it is conceivable to provide a ring-shaped recess 21 on the inner surface of the ball holder 7, machining is required to form the ball holder 15 into such a shape, which increases the cost and is not practical.

Further, since the rib prevents the ball holder from rotating, wear of the sliding contact hole is prevented.

Since the first claw is formed in a shape, the first claw is not blocked by the rib when protruding into the recess.
