気空間Ａの下方にマフラ７を配置した空冷立軸エ
ンジンのマフラ冷却装置において、シリンダブロ
ツク２と導風ケース４との間のシリンダ側導気空
間Ｂと、上記ヘツド側導気空間Ａとの境界領域Ｐ
に分流板１０を配置し、分流板１０の基端部１１
を導風ケース４の内壁１２に取付け、その先端部
１４をヘツド側導気空間Ａに臨ませ、分流板１０
に冷却風案内口１５を形成して、導風ケース４に
流入した冷却風の一部を分流板１０の冷却風案内
口１５を経てヘツド側導気空間Ａからマフラ７に
吹き当てるようにたことを特徴とする空冷立軸エ
