is provided. The conductor 2 is an insulating rod 1 as shown in the figure.
axially conductive parts 2a and 2b provided over almost the entire length on axially symmetrical surface parts with respect to the axis;
Provided on the circumferential surface portion of the free end portion over approximately half the circumference 7
It is preferable to configure the conductive parts 2a and 2b in the direction of both wheels with the conductive part 2c in the circumferential direction which conducts electrically with the conductive parts 2a and 2b, because this ensures reliable detection of breakage and also makes it advantageous to draw out the lead wire from both ends of the conductor 2.

The outer circumferential surface of the insulating rod body 1 on which the conductor 2 is provided is insulated and protected with an insulator 3 such as a synthetic resin film such as polyethylene terephthalate, thereby forming a cutoff rod 4. The surface of the insulator 3 may be directly marked with a striped pattern to clearly indicate that it is a cut-off bar, but the surface of the insulator 3 may also be coated with an exterior material having such a striped pattern. Reference numeral 7 denotes a support portion that supports the base end side of the blocking rod 4 so as to be openable and closable.

As shown in the first diagram, a signal detection element, for example, a series circuit of a coil of a relay 5 and a power source 6 is connected to both ends of the conductor 2 of the cutoff rod 4 through lead wires 9a and 9b. When the relay 5 is used as a signal detection element, when the current is cut off due to the breakage of the conductor 2 as shown in FIG.
The circuit shown in A) is deenergized by shifting to the circuit shown in FIG. 4(B), and the breakage is detected by closing the contact.
