[Detailed explanation of the invention] The commercial value of castella is determined not only by the combination of raw materials and manufacturing technology, but also by the appearance of the product. The quality of the kogeye is an indispensable element in evaluation. Of these, the brown-eye part on the surface of the castella castella is considered to be the face of the castella, and is considered very important, but on the other hand, it is also extremely fragile and easily damaged. Paper products are used as covers to protect this part of the eye from damage, but the materials that have been used traditionally have advantages and disadvantages, and are not always suitable for covering the part of the eye. There are some things that are difficult to say. In other words, if you put a cover on the burnt part, you must remove it before eating, but as mentioned above, the burnt part is fragile, so depending on the material, when you remove the cover, you may end up with burnt spots on the back of the cover. There is a risk that the eyes may become attached and the eyes may peel off along with the eyes. There are two main types of materials for the conventionally used kogeye covers. One is a paper product with good water absorption, and the other is a resin film or resin-coated paper product with excellent water resistance. The reason why these two types of materials with different physical properties are used for the same purpose of covering kogai is as follows. When a paper product with good water absorption is used as the kogei cover, the paper cover appropriately absorbs the moisture contained in the castella castella through the kogei, so when the cover is removed, the peelability from the kogei is very good. However, when the paper absorbs the water from the castella, the black-brown color pigment melted into the water is also absorbed, so the paper cover becomes stained black and when the cover is removed, it stains your hands and also stains nearby objects. There are some drawbacks. Another type of water-resistant resin film or resin-coated paper product cover is the brown castella castella pigment, which has a dark brown pigment dissolved in it, which is inhibited by the cover resin film and penetrates into the surface of the cover. There is no fear of contamination. However, when the cover is removed, there is a risk that the burnt grains will adhere to the resin surface on the back of the cover and peel off unevenly. Therefore, both of them are incomplete as a cover for the brown eyes, but since there is no other suitable material, one of them has been selected and used.

The present invention has been devised as a cover that protects the castella surface from external damage and has good releasability from the burnt part when it is removed once. The kogee cover of the present invention is constructed by laminating two different types of paper, one water-resistant and one water-absorbent, with the upper layer made of water-resistant paper with a resin coating on the back, and the lower layer made of paper with good water absorption. The upper layer paper and the lower layer paper are laminated by bonding the back resin coated surface of the upper layer paper and the surface of the lower layer paper with wax. In this case, the thickness of the wax is set to such a level that the lower layer paper is not clogged with wax and its water absorbency is not reduced. The thus laminated paper is suitably cut to a size as large as the surface area of the castella cake, and is used as a cover by placing it over the jagged grains on the surface of the castella cake. An embodiment of the present invention will be described below.

A 50 to 55 g/m 2 water-resistant votive paper was used as the upper layer of water-resistant paper 1, and 20 to 30 μm of low-density polyethylene resin for lamination was applied to the back side of the paper to form the back resin-coated surface 2. A thin Japanese paper of 20 g/m 2 is used as the lower layer water-absorbing paper 4, and food-grade solid wax is heat-fused as the wax 3 between the same Japanese paper and the back resin coating surface 2 of the upper layer water-resistant paper 1. The paper was coated with a thickness of about 30 μm, and the upper layer water-resistant paper 1 and the lower layer water-absorbent paper 4 were attached.

When the protective cover of this example was used, it was possible to obtain an excellent protective cover that had good releasability from the castella castella's jagged edges and did not stain the upper layer paper.

It should be noted that the paper/material of the present invention is not limited to those of the above-mentioned examples, and as the upper layer waterproof paper 1, water-resistant cotton paper, kraft paper, parchment, resin synthetic paper, etc. can be used. or,
Polypropylene resin can also be used as the material for the back resin coating surface 2. In addition, the lower layer water absorbent paper 4
As the material, a water-absorbing pulp-based nonwoven fabric or the like can be used.
The cover of the present invention has a highly water-absorbent lower layer paper, so it absorbs the moisture contained in the castella sponge cake, and has an extremely good peelability from the koji grains. The resin coating prevents staining of the upper layer paper, making it the most suitable cover for protecting the castella surface.
