給紙カセツトを装着した場合には、上下の給紙カ
セツトの後端側は同一面上にあるので、この後端
側に設けられたサイズ表示を容易に見ることがで
きるだけでなく、外観的にも好ましいが、第4図
のように、上段にB・4用紙用の給紙カセツトa
を下段にA・4用紙の給紙カセツトbを装着した
場合には上段の給紙カセツトaは、下段の給紙カ
セツトbよりも突出するため、下段の給紙カセツ
トbの後端側に設けられたサイズ表示を見ること

内部には感光ドラムからなる像担持体2が矢印に
示すように回転自在に設けられている。そして、
上記像担持体2の外周には回転方向に順に、帯電
器3、現像装置4、転写器5、剥離装置6、除電
器7およびクリーニング装置8が設けられてい
る。一方、本体1の上部には矢印イに示すように
往複動自在に原稿台9が設けられている。そし
て、上記原稿台9の下部には反射板10を有する
光源11が設けられていて、原稿台9に載置され
た原稿12を照射するようになつている。この原
稿12からの反射光は原稿台9の下方に設けられ
た集束性光伝送体13により回転する像担持体2
の外周面に照射され原稿12の画像が伝送される
ようになつている。また、本体1の下方には装入
長L1の上部カセツト装着部14と装入長L2の下
部カセツト装着部15が設けられていて、上部カ
セツト装着部14の装入長L1は下部カセツト装
着部15の装入長L2よりも長くなつている。そ
して、これらの装着部14,15には任意の長さ
の給紙カセツトたとえばA・4またはB・5用の
給紙カセツトを装着することができるようになつ
ている。また、これら上下のカセツト装着部14
および15にはそれぞれ給紙ローラ16および1
