色のフイルターを基盤上に所定の配列で、かつ互
いに重ならないように形成する一方、前記コモン
電極上に３原色のフイルターを前記配列と同じで
、かつセグメントの間隙の幅又はそれよりも小さ
い幅だけずれるように形成したカラーフイルター
層と、このカラーフイルター層上に形成した配向
膜と、セル内に封入した液晶と、液晶セルの前後
面に設けた偏光板とを備えてなるカラー液晶表示
