Abstract

PURPOSE:To display what food to eat and how much of it to eat by calculating the weight value, measurement quantity, and nutrition constituent values of a food necessary to intake the desired amount of energy from the food-data of said food specified by its food-code number and said amount of energy desired to be taken in. CONSTITUTION:The food-code numbers allocated beforehand to respective foods and the desired amount of energy to be in-taken, are treated as input data. When said data is inputted, from among the food-data consisting of the weight values and measurement quantity values per a prescribed unit of energy of respective foods and of the nutrition constituent values included in said weight which are stored in a storing means, the one that corresponds to the inputted food-code number is read out. Based on this data and the amount of energy to be taken in, the the necessary weight value, measurement quantity of the food, and the nutrition constituent values included in said weight value are calculated.

For example, in the case of diabetes treatment, the basic drug treatment is insulin injection or oral diabetic medication. However, especially in middle-aged patients with mild symptoms or patients with glucose metabolism disorders, dietary therapy alone is sufficient to achieve the therapeutic goal. Dietary therapy is always performed even if prescribed by a doctor. And this diet must be continuous. In addition, diseases for which dietary therapy is used include heart failure, hypertension, renal disease, obesity, etc., and the importance of dietary therapy is increasing these days.

For this reason, food exchange tables are created in each country and daily menus are prepared based on these tables. However, by understanding the contents of food exchange tables and food composition tables, it is possible to understand the energy requirements of IB, which vary greatly by age, gender, and labor intensity.
It is not easy to find a meal that can be ingested while balancing the composition of each food such as protein, fat, and carbohydrate by combining more than one type, and is an extremely difficult task.

Currently, diabetic patients or their families are hospitalized or hospitalized under the supervision of a doctor or nutritionist for at least one day to one month to receive experimental dietary therapy and to understand the contents of a food exchange chart. When doctors and nutritionists provide dietary guidance to diabetic or obese patients, they take into consideration age, gender, and labor intensity, and recommend food intake for a certain number of days to ensure a balanced intake of each component of the food according to the classification of food exchange tables. The following are determined and instructed to patients as shown in Tables 1 to 52. On the other hand, patients measure the amount of food using a measuring cup and measuring spoon, convert it to weight using a conversion table, or measure it using a commercially available household scale and use an electronic desk calculator to convert units and calculate energy. They also kept records as shown in Tables 3 and 4. However, with the above method, food ranks 1st to 3rd (80k
It is difficult to remember the weight per cal>, and the resolution of conventional household scales is 5g or 108, so I fully understand the necessity of dietary therapy and the contents of food exchange tables and food composition tables. Even for those who eat food, it is a complicated process to apply it to each meal, so it is easy to neglect the amount of energy (units) intake, or it can lead to imbalanced food intake due to excessive food intake or an imbalance in each component. By the way, what is the cost of conversion etc. as mentioned above? ! In order to convert to 5 yen per liter, it has a conversion function that allows you to display the energy intake in unit conversion by simply inputting data using keys such as a numeric keypad, or to display the energy intake and composition of the food ingested. Nutrient intake meters that display the amount, etc. are provided.

However, such a nutrient intake meter can be used by inputting data, for example, a code number individually assigned to each food using a dedicated numeric keypad, as well as inputting a weight value corresponding to the actual intake of the food. With such a nutrient intake meter, for example, if you want to consume 2.0 units of beef, which is a food classified in Table 3, enter the corresponding food code number for beef using the dedicated numeric keypad, and then enter the appropriate weight value. The disadvantage of using the method is that it is necessary to input the amount, confirm the calculation/balance result, and calculate the weight of beef corresponding to the number of units that the patient intends to ingest from the results.

Furthermore, as a conventional example similar to the above-mentioned conventional example, JP-A-56-2
There is one as shown in the 9123 publication. However, in this conventional example, in order to calculate the number of calories in a food from its portion value, the amount prescribed by a doctor or nutritionist is determined, and the menu must be prepared and meals managed based on the amount prescribed. For diabetic patients, it is inconvenient to use because it requires calculations twice.

[Disclosure of the Invention] The present invention describes the weight value and guideline amount per predetermined energy unit for each food, the nutritional components of the food contained in the weight value or guideline amount, and the food code number specified for each food. The weight value and guideline amount of the food necessary to subtract +Jf from the food data of the food and the amount of energy to be ingested using the specified food code number. And Sakae! ! Calculating component values is a zero sign, and by entering the code number of the food you are trying to ingest and the amount of energy (or units) you want to ingest from that food, it will calculate the weight value or guideline amount of the food you should ingest. value and nutritional value can be automatically calculated.

('XX Example f51 Figure shows the 70-chart of the method of the present invention,
The food code number assigned in advance to each food and the amount of energy to be ingested are treated as input data, and when the data is input, the information for each food stored in advance in the storage means (not shown) is treated as input data. Weight value and standard amount (lI'f) per predetermined energy unit (e.g. 80 kcal)
Read out the food data corresponding to the food code number from the food data consisting of and the nutritional component values contained in the weight, and calculate the necessary weight value of the food based on the data and the amount of energy you are trying to ingest. and the reference amount value, as well as the nutritional component value included in the weight value.

First, based on the food code number, the storage means stores the food with food code number r201J, that is, the energy of 100g of an apple! (50Kcal) is read out, and the input energy amount, for example 80Kcal, is read out.

In the Yu-ki calculation example, the data to be ingested was determined by the weight value, but it is also possible to determine the amount of energy you want to ingest from food eaten out, etc., and calculate that amount as a guideline value for the number of people. For example, if you want to ingest 5 units of energy in 1ζ of Oyakodon, first enter the food code number of Oyakodon, for example 801, and the energy content of 5 units. It can be calculated. Of course, the same calculation can be performed by inputting the % energy amount in Kcal instead of the unit.

In addition, the food component storage unit 2 stores not only energy as nutrients but also nutritional components such as carbohydrates, lipids, proteins, and salt for each food, and stores weight values or approximate values corresponding to the amount of energy to be ingested. Nutrient component values can be calculated along with quantitative values.
