Abstract

PURPOSE:To make a heating rise so speedily, by inserting a regenerative mate rial, consisting of CH3 COONa.3H2O as a main component, into a cooling water circulating passage, in case of an engine cooling water applying car heater. CONSTITUTION:Cooling water having absorbed heat out of an engine 1 is led into an air heater 6, radiating its heat to a regenerative material 11 consisting of CH3COONa.3H2O as a main component, whereby this regenerative material 11 stores heat. And, prior to engine starting or at engine stoppage for hours, a motor 13 is driven with a switch 15, and an incisive stick 12 stimulates the regenerative material 11. With this constitution, the regenerative material 11 radiates its heat, whereby air out of a fan 7 is heated, making it hot air which is fed to the inside of a car for heating. Thus, heating is speedily performable even before engine starting.

単室暖房を行なう自動車用ヒータに関す明すると、エン
ジン1の冷却水ジャケット2から出た高温の冷却水3は
、ラジェータ4までの経路で分岐され、ヒータ用冷却水
管5により車室内の空気加熱器6に入る。この空気加熱
器6で、ファン7により車室内あるいは車外より吸引さ
れた空気8が加熱される。この冷却水は空気加熱器6を
出た後管路9を通ってラジェータ4から出てくる冷却水
と合流した後、ポンプ10によりエンジンlの冷却水ジ
ャケット2内に送られる。

ー、電源14はカーバッテリでも兼用可能である。
