Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent dew condensation even if the heating part in a laser oscillator is cooled with a cooling means in a cabinet, by replacing air by a dry gas in the cabinet, and performing operation. CONSTITUTION:In a cabinet 1, a dry gas inlet port 6 and a dry gas outlet port 8 are provided. At the outside of the cabinet 1, a dry gas feeding device 10, which feeds a dry gas to the inlet port 6, is provided. At first, before the oscillator is started, the device 10 is started, and valves 7 and 9 are opened. Air in the cabinet 1 is replaced by the dry gas, e.g., by dry air. Thereafter, a cooling means 3 and the laser oscillator 2 are started. Thus dew condensation in the cabinet 1 is prevented.

(Example) Hereinafter, an example of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to FIG. Note that portions corresponding to those in FIG. 2 described above are designated by the same reference numerals. In the laser oscillation device of this embodiment, a dry gas outlet 6 is provided in a housing 1 via a valve 7, and a dry gas outlet 8 is provided on the opposite side via a valve 9. A dry gas supply device 10 for supplying dry gas to the dry gas population 6 is provided outside the housing 1 .

Next, its operation will be explained. First, prior to starting the apparatus, the operation of the dry gas supply device 10 is started, and the valve 7.9 is opened to replace the air in the housing 1 with a dry gas, for example, dry air. After the time required for the replacement has elapsed, the operation of the cooling means 3 and the laser oscillator 2 is started. When the device is stopped, valve 7.9 is closed. In addition, by increasing the amount of drying gas introduced only during the initial drying gas replacement,
It is more efficient to use a valve 79 and a dry gas supply device 10 that can reduce the amount of gas introduced after replacement.

(Effects of the Invention) As explained above, in the laser oscillation device according to the present invention,
Since the inside of the casing is replaced with dry gas during operation, dew condensation can be prevented even if the heat generating part of the laser oscillator is cooled by a cooling means within the casing, and a decrease in the insulation performance of the laser oscillator can be prevented. Further, according to the present invention, dehumidification measures can be taken at lower cost than using a dehumidifying device or the like.
