Recently, consumers' demands for water-resistant shoes have become stronger, and in the market there are synthetic leather shoes, shoes made from natural leather with water-replacement treatment,
Alternatively, shoes that are waterproof from the inside using a porous film are sold as waterproof shoes or all-weather shoes. However, although these shoes are water resistant, they are waterproof, and the joints and
It has a monotonous design with few decorative seams, and its moisture permeability, although numerical values can be determined experimentally, feels strongly stuffy, and there are many complaints from consumers.

In addition, new materials such as porous films, non-woven fabrics such as micro fiber Unive, and water exchange treated woven fabrics have been developed as new materials to supplement the water resistance of surface materials. The breathability and moisture permeability of a layered outer material such as natural leather is lower than that of ordinary shoes, and an increase in the feeling of stuffiness is unavoidable.

On the other hand, in conventional shoe making, it is common sense to seal all seams of the shoe cover, decorative holes in the design, etc. from the back side for the purpose of waterproofing, dustproofing, or reinforcement. The filler is made of woven fabric, non-woven fabric, starched cloth such as bias tape, or starched paper crepe, none of which are breathable.

In addition, the natural leather and rubberized cloth used as the backing material for the laces significantly reduce their moisture permeability, and the temporary gluing used during sewing also limits moisture permeability. There is.

The present invention improves the combination of new materials and the processing method of shoes, maintains the conventional appearance and function, and also uses holes such as decorative holes and decorative stitches as ventilation holes, and The purpose is to provide legal shoes with improved breathability and less stuffy feeling.

First, as an existing pattern that can be used as a ventilation hole,
There is a wing tip (Figure 1). In the conventional manufacturing method (Fig. 2), the decorative hole of the metallion (1) at the tip of the toe is
After drilling a hole (6) in 3), it is reinforced from the back side with starched cloth (4), and a toe cap (5) is pasted on the underside to completely close the hole. In the present invention, holes are made after attaching the reinforcing cloth and toecap to the outer material (Fig. 3A), or holes are drilled together with the outer material and toecap, and the breathable material is reinforced underneath (Fig. 3A). On the other hand, breathable and waterproof materials include porous films such as nylon and urethane, and freshwater woven and non-woven fabrics.
The use of fiber unibu is preferred. Microfiber Unive is a sheet-like nonwoven fabric made by processing microfibers with water exchange. Compared to the porous film that is normally processed as waterproof fabric, it is less water resistant (550
mmHt 2 O) permeates the gaps between the microfibers three-dimensionally, so it has excellent air permeability. The embodiments described below make use of this.

First, we will explain the method of completely waterproofing the cover by using a non-waterproof surface material. The cut parts are sewn into a one-piece piece using only the outer material, the necessary reinforcing material is attached, ventilation holes are made, and micro-fiber unibu is dot-glued on the entire back surface. The heel is then sewn together to make it waterproof, and then sewn together with a breathable lining to create a waterproof upper. In this case, it is also possible to use micro fiber unibu by adhering it to the backing material side through ventilation. Points to keep in mind when using these waterproof upper materials are to prevent a decrease in water resistance due to stretching of the upper laces due to the hanging method, and to prevent water from seeping into the bottom bonded areas and strands. Regarding the sole material, it is necessary to adhere the bottom material after waterproofing the hanging part of the insole, or to use a direct sole to bring the surface of the waterproof material into close contact with the sole material.

The second manufacturing method is to use a surface material that is water resistant inside and out, such as artificial leather or natural leather impregnated with a dehydrating agent during rubbing. First, only the outer material is sewn, and the ventilation holes are dot-glued from the back side with micro fiber unibu, and the surrounding area is completely sealed from the inside or outside.

In this case, it is preferable for the circumference to be bonded by a heat press method using a thermoplastic adhesive, so that the adhesive foot penetrates into both base materials. Other seams are waterproofed with a thermoplastic adhesive film and sewn together with a breathable backing. In addition, the eaves can be attached by completely adhering the surface of the cover material and the synthetic sole to make it waterproof.

The lining is made of breathable, sweat-absorbent and highly diffusive material.
For example, in the UK: If you use CRC camprel or SR treated cloth for sweat absorption and diffusion, treated with a spot adhesive, or punched with natural leather backing,
The sweat-absorbing lining material dries more quickly and absorbs the heat of vaporization, making the shoe even more comfortable to wear.

As a result of trying on the completed fully waterproof shoes for one month, the shoes did not feel stuffy, and as a result of a 24-hour water test of the recovered shoes,
There was no water leakage. On the other hand, I conducted a water leakage test using colored water on partially waterproof paper using Clarino as the surface material, but it was 50mm x 24.
No leakage was found even after hours.

In addition, these waterproof shoes are ideal for formal shoes, casual shoes, and outdoor sports shoes such as mountain climbing shoes and golf shoes. Furthermore, in order to reduce the stuffiness of safety shoes, many holes can be made in metal or plastic doe caps to be used as ventilation holes, and it is also expected to be used in special types of shoes.
