In order to separate the conveyed object from the conveyance line of the trolley conveyor and transport it laterally together with the carrier of the trolley conveyor as described above, a carrier conveyance rail that receives the carrier and moves laterally is required. In this type of device, this carrier conveyance rail is connected to a carrier guide rail on a trolley conveyor and is temporarily stopped, and in this stopped state, the carrier is transferred from the trolley conveyor side to the carrier conveyance rail,
After the carrier transfer is completed, the lateral movement of the carrier conveyance rail is started.

Therefore, when a large number of carrier conveyance rails are connected to one driving conveyor chain at appropriate intervals so that they can be circulated, the distance between the carrier conveyance rail and the carrier guide rail on the trolley conveyor side is When one carrier transfer rail is stopped for carrier transfer work,
All carrier transport rails in the circulation path will stop. For this reason, when processing a conveyed object that is traversely transported by a carrier conveyance rail during the traversal path, processing operations that may cause inconvenience due to the temporary stop of the conveyed object, such as heating treatment, must be carried out. It is not possible to perform chemical treatment, etc. Of course, it is also conceivable to configure the carrier conveying rail to be sent from the stop position to the next continuous traversal path after the carrier has been transferred, but this would complicate the structure and control of the carrier traversal means, resulting in a significant increase in cost. This results in the following.

The carrier transfer lateral movement rail 28 of the traverser 2 moves the rail on the lower outbound path 14 in the traversal means 1 from a position connected to the terminal end of the carrier guide rail 19 of the carrier carry-in trolley conveyor 3. The carrier is supported so as to be able to reciprocate within a range up to a certain distance in the direction, and when traveling (when moving in the same direction as the carrier transport rail 6 on the lower outbound route 14), the carrier transport It is operated synchronously in a state where it is connected to the rail 6 for use.
Further, on this lateral movement rail 28, an auxiliary conveyor 29 for pulling in and sending out the carrier, and a carrier feeder 30 for pushing the carrier 21 to a predetermined position on the carrier conveying rail 6 are arranged in parallel. The carrier transfer lateral movement rail 31 of the traverser 4 is moved from a position where it connects to the carrier unloading rotary guide rail 5 to a position separated by a certain distance in the rail movement direction of the lower outgoing path 14 of the traversal means 1. It is supported so as to be able to reciprocate within a range of Runs synchronously. Further, on this lateral movement rail 31, a carrier drawing means 32 for drawing the carrier 21 from the carrier conveyance rail 6, and a carrier drawing-in/discharging auxiliary conveyor 33 are arranged in parallel.

On the other hand, in the transverse conveying means 1, each carrier conveyance rail 6 is continuously moved by a driving conveyor chain 7 in a circulation path consisting of a lower forward path 14 and an upper backward path. There is. Therefore, the carrier conveying rail 6, which is continuously moving at the starting end of the lower outgoing path 14, is in a position where it connects with the carrier guide rail 19 of the trolley conveyor 3 as described above, and the carrier 21
When it reaches the position where it connects the lateral movement rail 28 to which it has already been transferred, it starts forward driving of the lateral movement rail 28 and maintains the relative position where it connects to the continuously moving carrier conveyance rail 6. The lateral movement rail 28 is laterally moved in the same direction at the same speed as the carrier conveyance rail 6. In this state, the auxiliary conveyor 29 and the carrier feeder 30 are operated to transfer the carrier 21 on the lateral movement rail 28 onto the carrier conveyance rail 6. After the transfer of the carrier 21 is completed, the lateral movement rail 28 reaches the end of the outgoing route, so the lateral movement rail 28 is moved backward and stopped at a position where it connects to the original carrier guide rail 19.

The conveyed object 2 supported by the hanger 27 of the carrier 21 transferred to the carrier conveyance rail 6
6, the rail 6 is guided by the rail guide 9 and moved along the lower outgoing route 1 by the conveyor chain 7.
4 is moved laterally, it is transported in a lateral direction that is orthogonal to the direction in which it was transported by the trolley conveyor 3. During this transportation, the objects 26 are automatically moved and immersed in the processing liquid in the processing liquid tank 15 due to the presence of the downward slope section 16, the low level horizontal section 17, and the upward slope section 18. , the expected processing is added.

The traverser 4 is waiting at the position where the carrier transport rail 6 reaches the end of the lower outgoing route 14 and connects to the carrier transport rotating guide rail 5.
When the carrier conveyance rail 6 reaches the position where it connects with the lateral movement rail 31, the lateral movement rail 31
Then, the transverse movement rail 31 is moved laterally in the same direction at the same speed as the carrier transfer rail 6 so as to maintain a relative position connected to the carrier transfer rail 6 which is continuously moving. In this state, the carrier drawing means 32 and the auxiliary conveyor 33 are operated to draw the carrier 21 on the carrier conveying rail 6 onto the lateral movement rail 31. After the transfer of the carrier 21 is completed, the lateral movement rail 31
reaches the end of the outgoing route, so the lateral movement rail 3
1 is moved back and stopped at a position where it connects to the original rotating guide rail 5 for carrying out the carrier, and in this state, the auxiliary conveyor 33 is operated to move the carrier 21 on the lateral movement rail 31 onto the rotating guide rail 5. send it out. Once the carrier 21 has been transferred onto the rotating guide rail 5, the rotating guide rail 5 is rotated to connect it to a carrier guide rail (not shown) in the next trolley conveyor, and The carrier 21 can be fed from the rotating guide rail 5 onto the carrier guide rail of the trolley conveyor by a suitable means such as a carrier feeder arranged in parallel with the rotating guide rail 5.

The conveying device according to the present invention can be implemented as described above, and its characteristics are as follows: Carrier conveying rails are connected at appropriate intervals with the length direction of each rail perpendicular to the chain movement direction to constitute a continuous carrier transverse feeding means, and the lower side of the carrier continuous transverse feeding means is The starting end of the outgoing route and the guide rail for carrying the carrier (in the example, the carrier guide rail 19 in the trolley conveyor 3)
and between the terminal end of the lower outgoing route and the carrier unloading guide rail (rotating guide rail 19 in the embodiment), respectively, within a certain range in a direction parallel to the lower outgoing route. A lateral movement rail for carrier transfer is provided which is capable of reciprocating movement and which operates in synchronization with the carrier transfer rail during forward movement.

According to such a configuration of the present invention, when a carrier supporting an object to be transported is carried from the carrier carrying-in guide rail to the carrier conveying rail of the cross-feeding means, and when the carrier is carried from the carrier carrying rail to the carrier carrying-out guide rail, When carrying out the carrier to the guide rail, there is no need to temporarily stop the carrier conveying rail in the cross-feeding means, and the above-mentioned carrier carrying in and out can be reliably carried out while the carrier conveying rail is continuously moved. Therefore, when processing a conveyed object that is laterally conveyed by the carrier conveyance rail of the cross-feeding means in the cross-feeding path, there is a possibility that the temporary stop of the conveyed object will cause inconvenience in the processing. Treatment operations such as heat treatment and chemical treatment can also be carried out without any problems. Moreover, since the multiple carrier conveying rails in the traversing means can be connected to one driving conveyor chain and moved continuously, the structure and control of the carrier traversing means is simple and can be implemented at low cost. I can do it.
