成され、該燃焼室内の燃焼圧力を検出する燃焼圧
力センサを備えた内燃機関において、 シリンダブロツク側面に外端が開口しシリンダ
ボア近傍のシリンダブロツク上面に内端が開口し
た傾斜したセンサ取付孔をシリンダブロツクに設
け、 燃焼圧力センサの先端が該取付孔の前記内端に
位置するべく前記燃焼圧力センサを該センサ取付
孔に装着し、 前記ヘツドガスケツトまたはシリンダブロツク
上面には前記センサ取付孔の内端と燃焼室とを連
通する切欠きを設け、燃焼室内の燃焼圧力を該切
欠きを介して燃焼圧力センサの先端に導く様にし
たことを特徴とする内燃機関の燃焼圧力センサの
