The weight of regular glasses is mainly placed on the nose area,
When wearing glasses for long periods of time while the body is stationary, such as when doing office work or driving a car, the weight of the glasses increases the pressure and causes pain. In particular, glasses with stronger lenses are heavier and cause more pain, and taking them off can severely impair eyesight, making it impossible to take them off while working or driving. Also, in the case of progressive multifocal glasses among bifocal glasses, there is an intermediate power band of about 12 mm from the distance part to the near part, so it is impossible to move the line of sight past the intermediate power band to the near part. Many people complained that things at reading distance appeared blurry and it was difficult to see. One known attempt to solve this problem is to wear glasses that are suspended from the nose using an intervening member that presses the sides of the head from the temples of both ear hooks from both sides. It is difficult, and even if you adjust it at first, if you gain weight, you may press too hard, or if you lose weight, you may lose control and fall, so you have to readjust it, and the tip of the intervening member In order to hold it down, the intervening member and the mounting base end had to be made strong and thick, which was a disadvantage in terms of design. Also, if you try to hang the glasses ear hook from the nose by passing the string from right to left from the front of the head, the fulcrum for hanging it must be fairly close to the ear or else it will slide over the hair, resulting in the glasses ear hook hanging down from the nose. The glasses tended to float away from my ears, making it easy for my glasses to fall down onto my nose. Furthermore, if it had to be removed when not in use, it would hang down and get in the way, making it unsightly and impractical.

The present invention has been devised to eliminate the above-mentioned drawbacks, and is a pair of eyeglasses in which the ear hooks extend rearward from both ends of the front frame portion where the lenses are provided, through bendable portions. The legs of the U-shaped forehead rest, which runs from the temples to the front frame of the glasses between the temples of the ear hook part, rise up in an inverted U-shape and can be worn freely.By doing so, the glasses are lifted from the base of the nose, and most of the weight of the glasses is transferred to the forehead. It reduces the burden on the nose area and reduces the feeling of pressure, making it easier to wear.At the same time, the near part of bifocal glasses is raised upwards, which is how bifocal glasses are generally viewed. The objective is to provide glasses that allow the user to view comfortably in a natural posture without having to stick out his chin and use his lower eyes in a tiring and forced way.

Put on the glasses configured as described above, as shown in Figure 3A, as if you were wearing regular glasses, and as shown in Figure 3B, lift the U-shaped forehead rest 6 up by hand and put it on together with the glasses. The rod-shaped forehead pad 10 of the U-shaped forehead pad 6 is brought into contact with the forehead F by raising the U-shaped forehead pad 6 appropriately from the nose. Therefore, the glasses can be supported by the forehead F, reducing the burden on the nose area, or the glasses frame 1 can be worn with no burden at all while floating from the nose area. Even with focusing glasses, the near vision area is raised upwards, allowing you to see easily without having to force your eyes to use your lower eyes. In addition, since the U-shaped forehead rest 6 is passed horizontally to the forehead F and hung down,
It does not require the bending strength of the conventional intervening members that press the sides of the forehead from the left and right, and therefore the U-shaped forehead rest 6 can be made thin or made of a soft material such as rubber, making it possible to use ultra-thin glasses. It can be hidden inside the frame without compromising functionality or fashionability at all. As in the embodiment shown in FIG. 4 in which rubber is used for the U-shaped forehead rest 6, the glasses 1 are locked by a locking body 11 provided on the front frame 2 using the elasticity of the rubber. It does not hang forward and obstruct your view. In the case shown in FIG. 5, since the portion along the front frame portion 2 is made of hard material, it is easy to engage and remove the locking body 11. Further, since the locking body 11 is held down by a spring, it does not come off even when the ear hook part 4 is folded. Fig. 6 shows a U-shaped forehead rest 6 decorated to achieve both functionality and design, in an attempt to change the image of glasses that are disliked by young women. The rubber material on the back provides a non-slip effect. In addition, the rising movement of the U-shaped forehead pad 6 causes the glasses 1 to come into contact with the forehead F without being lifted off the nose, so that the glasses 1 can be used as a sweat stopper during exercise. In FIG. 7, since the U-shaped forehead rest 6 can move slightly back and forth, when folding the eyeglass ear hook 4, the difference in axes between the glasses bendable part 3 and the U-shaped forehead rest bendable part 9 can be adjusted and folded. It is. Figure 8 shows how the forehead pad 10 can be rotated to fit different eyeglass widths.
The width of the glyph forehead rest 6 can be adjusted,
Since the forehead pad 10 rotates with different diameters, an optimal state of contact with the forehead can be obtained. FIG. 9 shows that the U-shaped forehead rest 6 can be easily attached and removed from the glasses 1 by engaging the ring-shaped set screw 19 of the ear hook temple 4a with the hook rods 20 at both ends of the U-shaped forehead rest 6. I can do it. Furthermore, since the annular head which is screwed from above the ear hook temple 4a is located at the top, the glasses will not get caught on other objects when worn. Also, the first
In Figure 0, when holding the knob ring 21 and screwing in from the side of the temple 4a through the chevron-shaped winding opening 21b,
It easily catches and wraps around the temples 4a, and can be easily removed by turning it in the opposite direction. As in Figure 9, the hook rods 20 on both ends of the U-shaped forehead rest 6 make it easy to attach and remove the U-shaped forehead rest 6 from the glasses. . Although not shown, if a rubber gasket is passed through the helical spring 21, the locking can be made even more secure. 9 and 10, the U-shaped forehead rest 6 can be attached and removed without damaging conventional glasses. Also, since the U-shaped forehead pad 6 needs to be much shorter than hanging it down at the frontal hair, it can be worn forward as long as it does not protrude beyond the point where it touches the forehead, depending on the inclination of each person's forehead. 7, the ear hook part 4 is less likely to lift up from the ear, and the glasses 1 are less likely to slip down to the nose.

In short, the present invention is designed to connect the front frame of glasses from the temples to the front frame between the temples of both ear hooks of glasses, in which the ear hooks extend rearward from both ends of the front frame where the lenses are provided via the respective bendable parts. Since both ends of the open leg part of the U-shaped forehead rest are attached, which can be placed along the front frame and can be raised freely, the glasses can be raised up from the front frame part, brought into contact with the forehead, and hooked to hang the glasses on the forehead. Therefore, the weight burden of the glasses on the nose can be significantly reduced or completely eliminated, allowing the wearer to wear the glasses comfortably without feeling pressured, and
Not only does it not impair the fashionability of glasses, the ease of putting them on and taking them off, and the ease of storing them in a glasses case, but it also opens up a new field of fashion for glasses. Furthermore, when the U-shaped forehead rest is not in use, it can be placed in a standby state along both temples and the front frame of the glasses, so it does not hang down and obstruct your vision, reducing the hassle of installing and removing it. It is extremely useful and practical, as it allows you to raise the U-shaped forehead rest with a single touch and comfortably put on your glasses without losing, forgetting, bulking, or breaking the glasses, which would be the inconvenience of having to remove them and carry them separately. It is effective.
