両方向に磁気テープを走行させ記録再生を行う回
転ヘツド型磁気記録再生装置において、回転ドラ
ムに取付けられ記録再生を行う回転ヘツドと、一
端を前記回転ドラム内に固定された圧電素子によ
る回転軸方向に可動な可動素子と、前記可動素子
上に固定された単一の回転消去ヘツドと、前記磁
気テープを案内する固定ドラムおよび前記回転ド
ラムに対向して設けられたロータリトランスと、
前記回転消去ヘツドに伝達する信号に使用する前
記ロータリトランスの同一チヤンネルに上記可動
素子を制御する信号を印加して消去信号と可動素
子制御信号を得るようにし、正逆両方向の斜めト
ラツク方向の少くとも、１トラツク分以上の消去
を前記回転消去ヘツドにより行うように構成した
