作業機を防音ケース内に収納するとともに、該防
音ケース内に高温部分を覆うダクトを設け、この
ダクト内を強制通風させた冷却風を前記防音ケー
ス外部に排出するようにした防音型エンジン作業
機において、前記エンジンの運転、停止を制御す
る操作レバーの外端部を、前記防音ケースに設け
た長穴を通して該長穴に沿い摺動自在に外部に突
出させるとともに、この操作レバーに、これが運
転操作位置に在る時には前記長穴を閉鎖し、停止
操作位置に在る時には該長穴を開放する遮蔽板を
