Abstract

PURPOSE:To realize stable contacting action and to decrease a problem of head crush by providing a taper part to generate the negative pressure between slider rails over the whole length in the lengthwise direction of a slider. CONSTITUTION:Over the whole length in the lengthwise direction between slider rails 1 composed of the non-magnetic material, a taper part 4 to generate the negative pressure is provided. に接触した状態で記録再生を行うように設計されている
。しかし、実際には動圧軸受の原理に従って、周速1〜
2 m / s程度でスペーシングが0.1〜0.15
μm程度になっている。
