[Detailed Description of the Invention] The present invention relates to a metal foil for a cake for wrapping the bottom and both sides of the cake.

Cakes are generally sold with the bottom and sides wrapped in aluminum foil or the like. For example, each so-called torte 1 in the shape of a triangular piece, which is obtained by dividing a disk-shaped cake radially into equal parts, is wrapped on the bottom and both sides with a torte wrap 2 made of aluminum foil, as shown in FIG. The bottom part is bent into a mountain-shaped cross section, and both the rising parts are slightly expanded and raised from the bottom part.

The present invention will be explained in detail based on the embodiment shown in FIGS. 4 and 5.

Figures 4 and 5 show Tortelap 2 according to the present invention.
For example, the central part of a circular aluminum foil having a thickness of 12 μm is the bottom part 4, and both sides thereof are the raised parts 5. The bottom part 4 has a triangular shape, and is bent into a chevron-shaped part 6 having a ridge line at its center, and the rising parts 5 are raised up and slightly expanded. Further, a large number of pleats 3 are formed radially in the raised portion 5 to reinforce the tortel rope 2.

Since the embodiment according to the present invention has the above-mentioned configuration, when the torte 1 is placed on the bottom 4, the chevron portion 6 is expanded and becomes flat as shown by the dotted line in FIG. The raised portion 5 is moved inward and comes into close contact with the side surface of the torte 1.
Therefore, if this tortel tip 2 is used, it is only necessary to simply place the torte 1 on the bottom part 4, and there is almost no need for any other troublesome molding.

To manufacture this Tortel Tap 2, we stacked many sheets of aluminum foil and punched them into a circular shape.
Furthermore, the pleats 3 may be provided by pressing while stacking the stacks, and the folding process may be performed.

In the embodiment, the bottom 4 of the tortel top 2 is triangular, but it goes without saying that this can be changed as appropriate depending on the shape of the cake, and does not necessarily have to be circular. Furthermore, the pleats do not have to be provided in the radial direction, but may be provided in other patterns.

As explained above, the metal foil for cake according to the present invention is formed in advance so that it can easily wrap around the cake.
Since the rising portion comes into close contact with the cake when the cake is placed, there is an advantage that the cake manufacturing process becomes extremely efficient.
