ギヤツプを以て対向し搬送される現像剤の層厚を
規制するドクタープレートとを有し、現像領域通
過後の現像剤が現像領域より下流側で現像スリー
ブを覆うケーシングと現像スリーブとの間を現像
スリーブによりケーシング内に戻される現像装置
において、上記の現像領域下流側で現像スリーブ
を覆うケーシングと現像スリーブとの間のギヤツ
プを最も狭い所で上記ドクターギヤツプより零乃
至１．５mm広い寸法としたことを特徴とする現像
