面図である。第２図は上記実施例における突起の
作動を説明するための断面図、第３図は同じく斜
視図である。第４図は前記実施例のミラーハウジ
ングを手動操作で回動させる場合の所要回動力を
示す図表である。第５図及び第６図はそれぞれ前
記と異なる実施例を説明するための断面図であつ
て、前記実施例における第２図に対応する図であ
る。第７図は格納式ドアミラーの作動説明図であ
る。第８図は従来の格納式ドアミラーの一部を破
断して描いた正面図、第９図は上記従来例のミラ
ーハウジングの所要回動力を示す図表である。

ラーベースに固着した枢支軸によつて回動自在に
支承すると共に、前記回動ベースに搭載した電動
式の駆動装置によつて該回動ベースを回動せしめ
る如く構成し、かつ、回動ベースに設けた穴に嵌
合したボールをスプリングによつてミラーベース
に向けて付勢し、ミラーベースに設けた穴に該ボ
ールを嵌合せしめて回動ベースの回動を位置決め
すべく為したる格納式ドアミラーの位置決め機構
において、回動ベース及びミラーベースの双方に
それぞれ凸面を形成し、ミラーハウジングが正常
姿勢にあるとき前記双方の凸面が当接して該ミラ
ーハウジングの前方回動を係止すべくなすと共に
、前記の当接面は双方の凸面の相対的な移動方向
に対して傾斜した面として、ミラーハウジングに
対して大きい前方回動力を加えると斜面の作用で
双方の凸面の係合が外れるように構成したことを
