Metallic twisted threads such as gold thread and silver thread are often used to add luxury to Japanese clothing such as Japanese clothes and obi (sashes), neckties, embroidery threads, tatami mats, etc. Conventionally, metal-like twisted threads such as gold thread and silver thread are used to add luxury to Japanese clothing such as Japanese clothes and obi (sashes), neckties, embroidery thread, tatami mats, etc. After that, it is manufactured by overcoating with resin such as urethane, epoxy, or nitrocellulose.

However, since the base material of the metallic twisted yarn is polyester, it has drawbacks such as being hard, having poor flexibility, being cheap, and having low strength. Also, depending on the dyeing method and dyeing conditions, it is often dyed. It is necessary to separately dye the metallic twisted yarn and the other fibers from which it is woven before weaving, which has the disadvantage of being time-consuming.

In view of the above drawbacks, the present invention has developed a metal that is soft, pliable, feels good on the skin, feels expensive, has great strength, and can dye only other fibers after weaving without dyeing. This was done to provide a method for manufacturing twisted yarn, and its gist is that a fluororesin film is compressed between rolling rolls at a temperature lower than the softening temperature of the fluororesin to reduce the amount of twisted yarn by 2/3 or less. Metal-deposited films obtained by vacuum-depositing a metal on at least one side of a rolled film rolled to a certain thickness, or the metal-deposited film and the above-mentioned rolled film are adhered so that the metal-deposited layer is on the inside. The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a metal-like twisted yarn, which comprises cutting a laminated film into thin long pieces and then twisting the film.

In the present invention, the fluororesin film is rolled by narrowly compressing the fluororesin film between at least a pair of rolling rolls,
This is done by reducing the thickness and increasing its dimensions. The rolling temperature is limited to a temperature lower than the softening temperature because if the temperature exceeds the softening temperature of the fluororesin, the resin will flow and the strength will not increase and the product will not feel soft and pliable. However, if the temperature is lower than room temperature, it becomes difficult to roll to a uniform thickness, so the temperature is preferably at least room temperature. The rolling ratio is limited to 2/3 or less because the rolling effect is not effective if the rolling ratio is small, but it is difficult to roll to a uniform thickness when the rolling ratio is large, so it is limited to 1/4 or more. It is preferable to have one.

The linear pressure of the rolling roll is preferably 100 to 5,000 kg/cm, and the back tension is 0.2 to 5 kg/cm to prevent the film from meandering or sagging when it enters the roll during rolling. It is preferable to add Furthermore, an aqueous surfactant solution may be used as a lubricant at the roll reduction point.

In the present invention, a metal is then vacuum-deposited on the rolled film rolled as described above to form a metal-deposited layer, but any known method may be used for the vacuum-deposition, and the metal is not particularly limited. Examples include gold, silver, chromium, aluminum, etc., and the thickness of the metal vapor deposition layer is preferably 100 to 2000 Å. In order to ensure that the metal is firmly deposited on the rolled film, it is preferable to subject the rolled film to a corona discharge treatment or to laminate it with an undercoat.

In the present invention, next, the metal vapor-deposited film and the metal vapor-deposited layer are bonded to each other so that they are on the inside to produce a laminated film. The lamination may be performed by adhering rolled films on which metal is deposited, or by adhering rolled films on which metal is deposited and rolled films on which no metal is deposited. Further, any adhesion method may be used for adhesion, such as a method of adhesion using an isocyanate adhesive, an epoxy adhesive, an acrylic adhesive, a rubber adhesive, etc., which have flexibility after adhesion.

The method for manufacturing the metallic twisted yarn of the present invention is as described above, and the fluororesin film serving as the base material is rolled to a thickness of 2/3 or less at a temperature lower than the softening temperature of the fluororesin, so it is soft and pliable. It has a high strength and can be twisted without stretching during twisting, and the resulting metallic twisted yarn is soft and pliable, has a luxurious feel, and has high strength. In addition, since fluororesin is difficult to dye and the metal vapor deposited layer is laminated between fluororesin films, the metallic twisted yarn obtained by the present invention will not be dyed by any dyeing method or dyeing conditions. Therefore, after weaving with other fibers, only the other fibers can be dyed, and beautiful fabrics can be easily obtained.

Next, gold was vacuum-deposited on the undercoat layer to form a gold-deposited layer of about 700 Å, and the gold-deposited layers were adhered to each other with an isocyanate adhesive to obtain a laminated film. When the obtained laminated film was cut into 5 mm width and twisted, the laminated film could be twisted uniformly without stretching.

The obtained twisted yarn was treated with various disperse dyes (1 g/) using a methylnaphthalene carrier (3 g/).
Carrier dyeing was carried out at 100° C. for 60 minutes at ~0.2 g/). After dyeing, the threads were washed with a neutral detergent (5 g/) at 70°C for 20 minutes, and the stain resistance of the twisted yarns was observed. There was almost no dyeing, and there was no decrease in the metallic luster.
