自在に装着されてカムに従動するタペツトボデイ
と、タペツトボデイの内部に摺動自在に装入され
たプランジヤと、タペツトボデイの内部に形成さ
れチエツクバルブを介してプランジヤにオイル圧
を供給するオイルチヤンバとを備え、プランジヤ
に供給されるオイル圧のコントロールによりタペ
ツトボデイとプランジヤとから成る実効ストロー
クに可変性を具備して成るオイルタペツトにおい
て、タペツトボデイの外周に摺動自在に嵌合され
、一端はオイルチヤンバにオイルを供給するため
に装着孔と連通してシリンダブロツク等に設けら
れたオイル供給路に対面し他端はバネで押圧され
たスリーブを設けると共に、スリーブと装着孔と
の間にリークチヤンバを形成し、オイルチヤンバ
とリークチヤンバとを連通するためにタペツトボ
デイ及びスリーブに夫々穿設されたリーク孔の互
いの重合離反の時期をオイル圧でコントロールす
