Abstract

PURPOSE:To securely develop a weak photosensitive material by forming a device with plural pairs of rollers conveying the photosensitive material and a means feeding a treatment solution so that a treatment solution flow is generated in a direction the same as the moving direction of the photosensitive material. CONSTITUTION:The linked part of a treatment solution pipe path 4 with respect to a development tank 1 is forked into two branches. The forked end parts 4a, 4b, 4c and 4d are linked to the shorter side wall of the development tank 1, whereby a laminated flow with a uniform flow velocity is formed in the development tank 1. Due to the action of pressure conveyance pump 5 inlet conveyance rollers 2 and 3 pass the photosensitive material A fed to the development tank 1 at a speed adjusted by the inlet conveyance rollers 2 and 3, and execute development processing. Since such a flow as to lead the tip of the photosensitive material A to the outlet of the development tank 1 is formed in the development tank 1, the tip of the photosensitive material A is conveyed by the flow, whereby it will not be jammed in the development tank 1.

-Prior Art- As is well known, conventional photographic paper used as a photosensitive material is a thick sheet that is sufficiently rigid even when immersed in a developer, so multiple pairs of conveyance rollers are arranged in a developer tank. It can be transported through the developing tank without any hindrance. However, recently, thin photographic paper having a thickness of 100 to 150 microns has been developed, and it has become difficult to develop such thin photosensitive materials in conventional developer tanks. In other words, although such a thin photosensitive material is mechanically rigid in a dry state, when immersed in a processing solution, it becomes extremely weak and easily changes its course due to the fluid resistance of the processing solution. It gets caught in the conveyor rollers in the developer tank and becomes jammed, making the development process itself difficult. For these reasons, conventionally, automatic development of weak and thin photosensitive materials has been considered difficult. Currently, thin photosensitive materials, which have many advantages, are developed manually.

Structure of the Invention In order to achieve this object, the present invention provides a plurality of pairs of rollers for conveying a photosensitive material, a wall member forming a photosensitive material passage between the roller pairs in a substantially closed space, and a wall member for forming a photosensitive material passage in the space. The present invention proposes a photosensitive material processing apparatus comprising a liquid sending means for sending a processing liquid so as to generate a processing liquid flow in the same direction as the moving direction of the photosensitive material.

1 and 2 show a photosensitive material processing apparatus according to a first embodiment of the present invention, and this photosensitive material processing apparatus includes a set of transport rollers 2 at the entrance and exit sides of a developing tank 1, which will be described in detail later. ..
It has 3. An entrance conveyance roller 2 disposed on the entrance side of the developer tank 1 takes the weak and thin sheet-like photosensitive material A into the developer tank 1, and an exit conveyance roller 2 and 3 located on the exit side of the developer tank l 9. The developing tank 1 according to the present invention discharges the photosensitive material A that has undergone development processing to the outside of the developing tank 1. In the illustrated example, the entire developing tank 1 has a "U°"-shaped cross section and has an inlet end 1a.
It is manufactured in a thin box shape with only the outlet end 1b open. Of course, in the present invention, the developing tank 1 is not limited to this shape, and may be a "J" shape or a flat box tilted from the inlet side to the outlet side. Any structure may be used as long as it can smoothly guide the photosensitive material A toward the exit without imparting unreasonable contact resistance to the weak photosensitive material A.

Further, according to the present invention, the inlet end 1a and the outlet end 1b of the developer tank 1 are connected by the processing liquid pipe 4, and the pressure pump 5 incorporated in the processing liquid pipe 4 is used to transport the developer tank. The processing liquid at the outlet side of the developing tank 1 is circulated to the inlet side of the developing tank 1 to form a liquid flow in the feeding direction of the photosensitive material A inside the developing tank 1. That is, for this purpose, the connecting portion of the processing liquid pipe line 4 to the developing tank 1 is branched into two, and these branched ends 4a

Since the first embodiment has the above-described structure, a uniform liquid flow along the flow of the photosensitive material A is formed inside the developer tank 1 by the action of the pressure pump 5. Therefore, the photosensitive material A fed into the developer tank I by the entrance transport rollers 2.3 passes through the developer tank I at a speed controlled by the entrance transport rollers 2 and 3, and is subjected to development processing during this time. However, since a liquid flow is formed inside developer tank 1 that guides the leading end of photosensitive material A to the outlet of developer tank 1, the leading end of photosensitive material A is removed by the liquid flow. , developer tank l
In this way, the leading end of the photosensitive material A that has passed through the developer tank 1 is taken up by the exit conveyance rollers 2 and 3, and the development process is completed. Even with weak and thin photosensitive material A, it can be used without any problems.
can be processed.

Effects of the Invention - As is clear from the above description, according to the present invention, the automatic development process of weak and thin photosensitive materials, which was difficult in the past, is now possible, and the advantages of thin photosensitive materials are maximized. Can perform to the best of his ability. Further, since the photosensitive material processing apparatus according to the present invention can be constructed in a compact size, the developing device can be easily miniaturized, and the number of mechanically movable parts is reduced, so that a failure-free apparatus structure can be achieved.
