That is, in FIG. 1, chips B generated by cutting a workpiece A such as a metal material with the teeth 2 of the circular saw 1 are collected by the teeth 2 and the cutting bottom C of the metal material A. The chips are collected in the enclosed chip chamber 3. The chip B is compressed by the rake face 4 at the moment it is cut from the workpiece A, and as a result, it extends in the width direction of the chip B (perpendicular to the plane of the paper in FIG. 1), and forms both cutting sides D, It is wider than the width between D. Therefore, the chips B cause severe friction between the two cutting side surfaces D, D in the chip chamber 3, causing problems such as an increase in cutting resistance and heat generation.

6b is provided and the chips B are divided into two in the width direction by the chip dividing grooves 6a and 6b. As an example, Tokukaisho
There is a method described in Japanese Patent No. 56-27727, but in these conventional methods, processing to alternately provide the chip dividing grooves 6a, 6b on the teeth 2, 2 is troublesome;
The blade width cannot be narrowed, the chip dividing grooves 6a and 6b
Since the tooth 2 is not located at the center in the width direction of the tooth 2, an uneven load is applied to the tooth 2 during cutting, causing vibration, which shortens the life of the tooth 2.

Chamfering blades 7 with chamfers 7a, 7a on both corners of the flank 5 and flat blades 8 without chamfering are arranged alternately for each adjacent tooth 2, and the chamfering blades 7 are placed closer to the flat blades 8. There is also one in which the height is increased by an amount s corresponding to the depth of cut. In the one shown in FIG. 3, after the center is cut with the chamfer blade 7, both sides are cut with the flat blade 8, so that the chips B are divided into three parts. However, when finishing cutting the workpiece,
It has the disadvantage of generating large burrs.
That is, in FIGS. 3B and 3C, the workpiece A is first cut by the chamfering blade 7, but at that time, both sides a still remain (FIG. 3B), and these both sides a are flat blades. 8, it is not cut but is pushed outward and becomes a burr b (FIG. 3C).

The grooved blade is characterized in that it is formed higher than the flat blade, and the grooved blade cuts the chips into two parts leaving the center. , the cutting is done with the flat blade of the remaining part in the center.

2, one end of this groove 12 opens on the rake face 13, and the other end opens on the flank face 11. The flank surface 11 has extremely slight (for example, 0 to 1.0 mm) chamfers 11a, 11a on both ends thereof.
is applied. In FIGS. 5A and 5B, the tip attached to the other tooth 9 of the circular saw is formed into a flat blade 14, which has the same blade width as the grooved blade 10 described above, but The flank surface 15 is not provided with a groove like the grooved blade 10. Chamfer 1
5a, 15a and the rake face 16 are similar to those of the grooved blade 10. These grooved blades 10
and flat blades 14 are provided alternately on a large number of teeth 9 formed on the outer periphery of the circular saw.
As shown in the figure, the grooved blade 10 is more h than the flat blade 14.
It is set high due to its dimensions.

4 will be used for cutting. When the object to be cut is finished cutting, the grooved blade 10 cuts away most of the side portions a that cause burrs and leaves no large burrs. Since the concave groove 12 is provided at the center in the width direction of the grooved blade 10, the left and right cutting forces are equalized and no uneven load is applied to the teeth 9, so that vibrations are less likely to occur in the circular saw. Therefore, the cutting surface of the workpiece is well finished without any bending, and chipping is less likely to occur, resulting in a longer blade life. The groove 12 of the grooved blade 10 is
Since only one blade is provided in the center, it is easy to manufacture and can be manufactured even with an extremely narrow blade width, which reduces cutting resistance and improves cutting efficiency.
