Abstract

PURPOSE:To permit efficient ventilation by generating Coanda effect upon upward blow-off and simplify the constitution of the titled device by a method wherein a surface for inducing air from a fan is formed on the upper wall surface of upper blow-off grille of upper blow-off port so as to be bent protruded downwardly while a blow-off port in a ventilating circuit is provided with a bent air deflecting vane so as to be protruded downwardly. CONSTITUTION:The upper guide wall 1 of an upper blow-off grille 9 in a ventilating circuit 6 is bent so as to be widened gradually and upwardly while an airflow deflecting vane 10 in the ventilating circuit 6 is also bent in a similar form. Ventilating airflow is divided substantially into ventilating airflow A1 flowing along the upper surface of the airflow deflecting vane, the airflow A2 flowing along the upper guide wall, and ventilating airflow A3 flowing along the lower surface of the same vane, all of which are blown upwardly respectively. In this case, the upper guide wall 11 is provided with an arched section, therefore, the airflows upwardly without causing seperation. Accordingly, noise of ventilation is not generated in case of upward blow- off. According to this method, upward blow-off can be effected smoothly to improve a function as the air-conditioning machine, while deflecting angle of upward blow-off can be enlarged.

Problems to be Solved by the Invention However, in the case of a floor-standing air conditioner with such a configuration, the cold air directly hits the human body, so it is necessary to change the direction of the cold air upward. With one side air outlet, the deflection angle is insufficient for cooling and heating, and if you try to forcefully secure the deflection angle, the noise will increase and a short circuit will occur where the blown air is directly sucked. It is necessary to blow air from the lower outlet and cool air from the upper outlet, and furthermore, to blow the air from the upper outlet upward, but this operation is difficult due to noise and other problems.

Means for Solving the Problems In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the present invention provides a structure in which a surface portion that attracts air from a blower is directed downward on the upper wall surface of the upper air outlet grille of the upper air outlet in the ventilation circuit of an air conditioner. The wind blower is formed in a straight line so as to protrude from the side, and furthermore, a curved wind direction changing blade is provided at the air outlet inside the ventilation circuit so as to protrude downward.

As shown in Figure 1, the upward airflows are air flow A flowing along the upper surface of the wind direction changing blade, air flow A2 flowing along the two-part guide wall, and air flow A flowing along the lower surface of the wind direction changing blade.
It is broadly divided into three types, each of which is blown upward. At this time, since the upper guide wall 11 is provided with an arcuate portion, the air flows upward as the peeling 1'2 occurs.

Effects of the Invention As described above, in the present invention, the upper guide wall of the upper blow-off grille, which causes the Coanda phenomenon to occur, is curved so as to gradually expand upward, and the wind direction changing vanes inside the blower circuit are also curved in the same manner as the upper guide wall. This curve allows smooth upward blowing, improves the function of the air conditioner, and increases the upward deflection angle.
