できる限り、大きくさせて例えば自動車等の振動
や上からの加重を受けても長方形の縁塊1が傾倒
することなく安定に載置できる。また縁塊1には
縁石部1aが一体に形成されているため、縁石部
分の個別の敷設作業を要せずに縁石部1aが案内

かつ、円滑、適正に敷設位置を定めることができ
る。ところで縁塊の下方にコンクリートにより該
縁塊と一体に形成された接続用側塊は内壁面が断
面において八字状に拡径されているので接続用側
塊が載置される側塊の内壁面と連続し、また接続
用側塊の外壁面が正面において垂直又は下方に拡
くとともに側面において下方に狭まつているから
前記側塊の外壁面と連続すると同時に接続用側塊
の下面には嵌合手段としてのテーパ面が形成され
て側塊の上面に設けたテーパ凹面と密嵌されてい
るから、側塊に対する接続用側塊の接触面積が大
きくなつてずれ動きを防止し、筒状の側塊に対し
て接続用側塊を安定に載置でき、自動車等の振動
や上からの荷重を受けても方形の縁塊が傾倒する
ことがない。しかも接続用側塊は前述の如くその
外壁面が正面において垂直又は下方に拡いて形成
されて凹面部分がないから、縁塊および接続用側
塊は埋設後に埋め戻しの土は空隙部がなく埋め戻
されることにより、地盤が沈下して傾倒すること
がない。さらに接続用側塊は断面において内壁面
が八字状に拡径しているから、ゴミや雑草が残留
