は一端を前記ケーシングに固着させて片面粘着テ
ープの長手方向へ弾力的に移動可能に形成した挾
持部材を少なくとも一つ配設するとともに、該挾
持部材により被結束物挿入部と該被結束物挿入部
に接続して外方に向けて拡開する被結束物挿入口
を一体的に形成し、さらに前記挾持部材の弾性力
により前記被結束物挿入部を前記片面粘着テープ
の長手方向に縮少する方向へ付勢させたことによ
り、片面粘着テープを被結束物に巻き付ける作業
が簡単かつ迅速に行なえるようになり、しかも挾
持装置の挾持部材により被結束物を弾力的に挾持
するとともに片面粘着テープを被結束物側へ押圧
するためにテープによる結束を確実に行なうこと
ができる。挾持装置に被結束物を挾持させる操作
だけで被結束物に対して切断刃側に位置するテー
プ端部が巻回体側に位置するテープ側へ回り込
み、被結束物外周部分にテープを接着させること
ができ、被結束物を一回転させることなく結束で
きるなど、被結束物に対する片面粘着テープの巻
き付け作業が手間が省け、作業能率が向上する。
また、挾持部材により被結束物挿入部およびそれ
に接続する被結束物挿入口を一体的に形成し、被
結束物挿入部を片面粘着テープの長手方向に縮少
する方向へ弾力的に付勢させたことにより、挾持
装置に回転部分がなくなり、挾持装置の形状、構
造が簡略化されて結束装置が簡素化し、製作が容
易になつて量産性が向上し、耐久性が向上すると
ともに、コストが低下する。
