It is a height adjustment device for a running body such as a runner that is mounted on a rail so that it can run freely, and the runner shaft that holds the running body at the upper end is screwed into the upper end of the partition body so that the height can be adjusted freely. A square rotation operation part for rotating the runner shaft is formed in the middle part of the runner shaft protruding from the partition body, and a rotation stopper that engages with the rotation operation part and prevents rotation of the rotation operation part is provided in the partition. The rotation stopper is provided at the upper end of the body so as to be non-rotatable and can be lowered to break the engagement, and the rotation stopper is biased by a spring in the direction of engagement with the rotation operation part, and the rotation stopper is pushed against the spring.
