〔発明の目的〕

本発明は水処理の浸漬床用接触材として用い

(発明が解決しようとする問題点)
上述のように、全周に多数の輪状繊維が隙間な
く放射状に形成されたモール状の紐体を汚水処理
用接触材として用いた場合は汚泥が輪状繊維の外
周にのみ付着し易く密度が大なる輪状繊維の内側
は付着しにくいため汚泥の付着率が低くなるとい
う問題があり、さらに、放射状に密集した輪状繊
維の外周に汚泥が付着すると付着した汚泥によつ
て接触材が一体の太い棒状汚泥と化し、内部が嫌
気状態となり好気性反応が妨害されることになり
接触酸化反応の効率が低下することになる。また
一体の太い棒状に付着した汚泥体は逆洗時に水流
抵抗が小さく、したがつて汚泥の脱落に相当多量

本発明の目的は上述の問題に鑑み、多数の単繊
維よりなるループに均一に汚泥が付着しかつ嫌気
性状態を生ずることなく、洗浄水、洗状時間も少
くてすみ、さらに単繊維よりなるループを容易に
作ることができ、また付着した汚泥の除去も容易
