とbとの間に呼が設定される。両通信回線aおよ
びbをそれぞれ収容する情報処理装置AおよびB
の記憶装置MAおよびMBには、設定された呼を
管理する呼制御メモリCMAおよびCMBが設けら
れる(第1図)。続いて両通信回線aとbとの間
に設定された呼を介して情報転送パケツト3が授
受される。所要の情報の授受が完了すると、通信
回線aは、情報処理装置AおよびBを経由して通
信回線bに切断要求パケツト4を伝達する。情報
処理装置AおよびB並びに通信回線bが先に設定
された呼を解放すると、それぞれ切断確認パケツ
ト5を返送し、呼は総べて終了する。なお情報処
理装置Aは情報の転送過程に、記憶装置CMA内
に設けられた呼制御メモリCMAの課金情報領域
CIに通信回線aから伝達された情報転送パケツ
ト3の数、情報量等の課金に必要な情報が蓄積さ
れる(第1図)。呼が終了すると、情報処理装置
Aは課金情報領域CIに蓄積された課金情報を、

送出した情報が万一被呼通信回線bに伝達されぬ
場合にも課金対象とされる恐れが絶無ではない。

パケツト5を送出するに至るパケツト伝達過程は
第2図と同様である。なお情報の転送過程に、情
報処理装置Aは起呼通信回線aから伝達された情
報転送パケツト3の数、情報量等の課金情報を課
金情報領域CIAに蓄積し、また情報処理装置Bは
被呼通信回線bに伝達された情報転送パケツト3
の数、情報量等の課金情報を課金情報領域CIBに
蓄積する。呼が終了すると情報処理装置Aは情報
処理装置Bに対し、課金情報転送要求パケツト7
