In blood transfusion therapy, even if bacteria enter the blood vessel through the tube connection, white blood cells have the ability to phagocytose bacteria, so there is no major concern as long as the number of bacteria is small, but in dialysis, especially in peritoneal dialysis, bacteria In treating areas such as the abdominal cavity, which have no protective ability, it is an absolute technical challenge to reliably prevent bacteria from entering the tube. That is,
Compared to dialysis using an artificial kidney, the recent treatment method using peritoneal dialysis does not require large-scale equipment and equipment, and the treatment cost is significantly lower. The causes of peritoneal hemorrhage have been largely elucidated, and it is also more enjoyable. Treatment methods have been developed that can significantly reduce the burden on patients without the need for medical treatment, and a continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis method that allows patients to work while continuing treatment has been invented and is now being put into general practical use. It has been reviewed and is attracting attention.
The reliability of this dialysis method in terms of life safety depends on whether it is possible to reliably prevent the entry of bacteria into the tube and avoid the occurrence of peritonitis due to the proliferation of microorganisms within the peritoneum. It is said that this cannot be carried out for a long period of time.

A catheter 2 is surgically implanted inside the body, and a connector 3 is attached to the external end of the catheter 2.
A connector 5 attached to one end of the transport tube 7 is connected to this connector 3. To inject the dialysate into the abdominal cavity 1, the bag 6 containing the dialysate is hung at a predetermined height higher than the abdominal cavity 1.
This is done by piercing the backing needle 11 attached to the tip of the transport tube 7 into the discharge port of the tube and loosening the clamp 10 attached halfway. After injecting the dialysate into the abdominal cavity 1, the patient can walk or work by closing the clamp 10, rounding the tube 7 appropriately, and attaching the bag 6 to the waist. To withdraw the dialysate from the abdominal cavity 1 after a predetermined period of time has elapsed, the tube 7 is extended, the bag 6 is placed on the floor, etc., and the clamp 10 is loosened. Then, by pulling out the bag needle 11 from the bag 6, making the bag 6 disposable, setting the next new bag 6 at a higher location, and inserting the bag needle 11 into the new bag 6, the second and subsequent dialysis can be performed.

できず、きわめて低濃度の液を使用している。 However, when connecting the connectors 3 and 5 and the outlet of the bag needle 11 and bag 6 during the first and second dialysis sessions, an iodine-based disinfectant is currently used to prevent microorganisms from entering the tube. Disinfection procedures include instant immersion in a solution and wiping the tip of the bag needle thoroughly with disinfectant. A very small amount of the disinfectant in the solution enters the body and acts as a harmful substance, so it is not possible to make it highly concentrated, so a solution with an extremely low concentration is used.

状態にあると言われている。 Therefore, conventional disinfection procedures cannot be said to be sterile from a microbiological point of view, and in fact, infections from the connectors and bag needles occur about two months after dialysis begins, resulting in peritonitis. It has been reported that ambulatory continuous peritoneal dialysis is currently difficult to implement over a long period of time despite being an effective treatment as described above. It is being said.

They thought that sterilization could be ensured by using a tube 4 with connectors 5 and 9 on both ends and heating the connectors with the flame of an alcohol lamp to connect them. However, conventional back needle 11 connectors are not configured to be heated.

To provide a connecting device for tubes for dialysis, infusion, and blood transfusion, which is improved so that a liquid-tight state at this location can be permanently ensured without causing changes such as expansion, and furthermore, the connection between connectors can be locked. It is something.

It is extremely effective for continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis that requires renewal. However, the present invention provides a tube connection device that can highly reliably prevent infection from the tube connection point used in a wide range of treatments including, but not limited to, infusion therapy and blood transfusion therapy. This is what I am trying to do.

めて実現できる。 (4-2) Function We will now explain the ambulatory continuous peritoneal dialysis shown in Figure 1, and in Figure 2, tube 11 is an extension tube connected to a Tenkoff catheter implanted in a patient. 4 and the tube 12 is assumed to correspond to the transport tube 7 connected to the bag. To renew dialysis, the bag and transport tube 12 are disposable, so the locking mechanism R is disengaged and then the male engagement part 13a and the female engagement part 14a are disengaged. Before disengaging the engagement, first suspend the new bag at a high place, disinfect and connect the new transport tube 12 to it, and connect the new transport tube 12 to the new bag.
The patient holds the supporting part 15 of the female connector 14 at the tip with one hand, heats the female engaging part 14a moderately with the flame of an alcohol lamp, and then holds the supporting part 15 of the female connector 14 at the tip with the other hand or with both hands while holding the new spare part. The liquid feed tube 1 that is currently connected as above
1 from the extension tube 11 right above the flame of the alcohol lamp, and immediately disconnect the male engaging part 13a of the male connector 13 connected to the extension tube 11 from the alcohol lamp. After being heated appropriately with a flame, the female connector 14 is inserted and fitted into the female engaging portion 14a of the female connector 14 connected to the new transport tube 12, and the locking mechanism R is inserted again.
By locking the connection between the connectors 13 and 14, it is possible to completely prevent bacteria from entering the tube, thereby completely eliminating the occurrence of peritonitis caused by bacteria entering from the connector portion. can. Since the connectors 13 and 14 are heat resistant and corrosion resistant, chemical changes such as rust and surface changes do not occur even when heated. And connector 1
When the engaging parts 13a, 14a of the connectors 13, 14 are heated with the flame of an alcohol lamp, the tube side ends of the connectors 13, 14 become hot, but the support 1 is attached to these parts.
5, the patient can hold the connectors 13 and 14, and the support 15
Because the diameter of the tube is large, it is easy to hold and can be supported stably, allowing for good heating. Also, since the tubes 11 and 12 in this part are made of silicone rubber, the tube does not absorb the heat transferred to the connectors 13 and 14. There is no deformation or denaturation due to heat such as shrinkage, expansion, brittleness, or melting, and therefore there is no leakage of dialysate from the fitting connection between the tube and connector, making it possible to sterilize by heating. This tube connection can only be achieved without any heat effect on the tube.

An alcohol lamp may be By lighting a fire and heating the engaging part of the connector, sterilization can be ensured.
Particularly in the treatment of body parts that have no antibacterial activity, such as peritoneal dialysis, there is no complication of peritonitis caused by bacteria entering from the connector, and the treatment method using the tube connection structure of this invention can be used in a wide range of treatments. The reliability of life safety has increased markedly, but it has been difficult to implement it for a long period of time because it cannot prevent bacteria from entering through the connector, as exemplified by peritoneal dialysis, which has been practiced to this day. This has the excellent effect of completely removing the barrier. Moreover, according to this invention, the operation of disconnecting and reconnecting is extremely easy.
It can be done with one hand, can be easily done by the patient without the help of a doctor, and has the effect of ensuring sterilization, making it ideal as a tube connection device for ambulatory continuous peritoneal dialysis.

Reliability is increased, and since the tube that connects to the connector is made of silicone rubber, it can be forcibly fitted to the connector with sufficient strength, and there is no change in the connector due to heat transmitted from the connector such as shrinkage, expansion, melting, or softening. This has the effect of ensuring a good liquid-tight fit between the tube and the tube.

ある。 In addition, according to the present invention, each connector is attached with a support made of a heat insulating material, so it is easier to operate than the case where the connector must be rolled up and held using cloth etc. However, it can be operated very easily and without errors, ensuring sterilization. Further, according to the present invention, since the connectors are connected by plug-in fitting, the patient can operate the connectors with one hand, and the locking operation after plug-fitting can be performed smoothly. If the connectors are not connected by plug-in fitting, that is, if the connectors are brought into contact with their ends and locked with a nut, it may be difficult for the patient to connect the connectors themselves. However, this does not occur with the present invention. However, the connection between the connectors according to the present invention is a plug-in fit, and the screw connection is employed in the locking mechanism, and the connection can be made without twisting the tube, so the connection between the connectors is easy. The locking mechanism is not easily disengaged by itself due to twisting of the tube, which causes a moment to return, and in this respect, it can be suitably employed in ambulatory continuous peritoneal dialysis. In other words, in ambulatory continuous peritoneal dialysis, it must be assumed that external forces such as tension, compression, and moment act on the tube, but in this invention, the tube is locked without twisting, so the tube is completely unnoticed by the patient. There is almost no possibility that the connector will come undone on its own. If the tubes are connected by simple plug-in fitting without a locking mechanism, or if the tubes are connected by twisting the tubes to lock them, there is a high possibility that the connection will come undone naturally. This must be avoided in view of the safety of the patient's life, and in the latter case it is necessary to strongly lock the lock, but it becomes difficult to release the lock. Therefore, according to the present invention, the reliability of treatment methods and instruments is increased.

Although silicone rubber does not have heat shrinkage or heat fusion properties as a physical property, it is elastic and has high tensile strength, so the support can be easily attached to the connector, and the tightening action of the support allows silicone rubber to be used. The fitting of the tube to the connector becomes even stronger, and if the support is made of Teflon or cork and fixed with adhesive to the connector or the fitting end of the tube fitted into the connector, Teflon has almost no elasticity, and cork has elasticity but low tensile strength, which has the added effect of ensuring proper and good installation.

In this case, there is an added effect that the reliability of liquid-tight fitting between the connectors is further increased. Furthermore, as an embodiment of the present invention, the various locking mechanisms specifically provide a wide range of structures to ensure a straight plug-in fit between the male and female connectors.
