[Detailed Description of the Invention] <Industrial Application Field> This invention is capable of reproducing the same sound as the characteristics of a musical instrument without muddying the sound inside the speaker cabinet and without weakening the middle and bass parts even at a low volume. The present invention relates to a speaker cabinet as described above.

In general, the conditions for a good speaker are sufficient efficiency, wide dispersion, low distortion over the entire band, flat frequency response, and a balance between the rise and fall characteristics of the high and low ranges. These include transient characteristics, sufficient damping of low-frequency resonance, and sufficient power tolerance. but,
Although some of these are required of the speaker unit itself, it cannot be denied that these problems are not just a problem of the speaker unit, but may also be related to the structure, shape, etc. of the speaker cabinet itself that houses the speaker unit. In particular, the sound transmitted from the back of the speaker into the speaker cabinet varies greatly depending on the structure of the speaker cabinet. Therefore, the structure of the speaker cabinet is important.

<Prior art and its problems> There are three types of speaker cabinets commonly used in the past: a closed type, a bass reflex type, and a back load type, but each of these types has the following drawbacks. First, the closed type
As shown in Figure 3A, this type does not have an opening in the cabinet, but in this type, when the sound pressure inside the cabinet increases, there is no place for the sound pressure to escape.
As a result, an unresonant chord is produced and the sound becomes muddy. Furthermore, even if the cabinet is filled with sound absorbing material to prevent this, the generation of resonant chords cannot be sufficiently prevented. Next, the bass reflex type has a bass reflex (through hole) in a part of the front of the cabinet to release some of the sound pressure inside the cabinet, as shown in Figure 3 (b), but this type is also a closed type. Similarly, the occurrence of unresonant chords cannot be sufficiently prevented, resulting in a muddy sound. What we came up with was the backload type shown in Figure 3C. In this way, the sound from the back of the speaker will not return to the rear of the speaker, but will travel inside the cabinet as shown by the arrow. Therefore, the occurrence of unresonant chords can be prevented. However, with this format, the sound from the back of the speaker is not transmitted directly to the front of the cabinet, resulting in a less powerful sound overall, and the disadvantage is that the bass sound becomes weaker when the volume is lowered. have.

Also, as a type of backroad type,
As shown in Publication No. 69799, there are some types that have a phase shifter installed on the back of the speaker unit, but the sound from the back of the speaker does not return to the rear of the speaker again, and there is no difference in performance from the conventional backroad type. There is no such thing.

<Means for Solving the Problems> Therefore, the present invention provides a space inside a speaker cabinet body having an opening on the side surface and between it and the front panel of the cabinet so that the width thereof is approximately equal to the diameter of the speaker unit. A reverberation plate having a W-shaped cross section is disposed, and a partition plate is provided between the cabinet side plate and the reverberation plate from the front side of the cabinet at the side opening toward the rear of the cabinet, and a gap is provided with the cabinet rear plate. The sound from the rear of the speaker is returned to the front of the cabinet by the reverberation board, and some sound pressure is accumulated in the space between the back of the speaker and the reverberation board. The sound pressure is designed to go rearward from between the front end of the cabinet and the front panel of the cabinet, and exit the cabinet from the side, so that the sound pressure does not increase too much inside the cabinet and cause an unresonant chord, and even when the volume is reduced, the low frequency range is maintained. It was developed with the aim of providing a speaker cabinet that can reproduce sound satisfactorily.

<Embodiment> Now, an embodiment of the speaker cabinet according to the present invention will be described based on the drawings. Reference numeral 1 denotes a speaker cabinet body having an opening 2 on the side surface. 3 is a sounding board formed to have a W-shaped cross section. The convex portion 4 at the center of the W-shaped sounding board 3 only needs to have an appropriate size, but the width should be approximately equal to the diameter of the speaker unit 12. Glass wool 5 is attached to the front surface of the convex portion 4.
The reverberation plate 3 and the cabinet front plate 6 are arranged with a gap 7 provided therebetween for the passage of sound. That is, it is only necessary to form a space between the back surface of the speaker unit 12 and the sounding plate 3 in which a certain amount of sound pressure can accumulate. 8 is a partition plate, and the side opening 2
It is disposed between the cabinet side plate 9 and the reverberant plate 3 from the front side of the cabinet toward the rear inside the cabinet. The partition plate 8 and the cabinet rear plate 10 are arranged with a gap 11 provided therebetween, which serves as a passage for sound. 12 is a speaker unit attached to the front panel of the cabinet.

<Function> Therefore, part of the sound emitted from the speaker unit 12 is emitted to the front, and the rest is emitted from the speaker unit 1.
2 into the cabinet main body 1. The latter sound is produced by speaker unit 12.
A certain amount of sound pressure accumulates between the back surface and the reverberation plate 3, and the sound pressure that cannot be accumulated there is dissipated by the cabinet body 1, the reverberation plate 3, and the partition plate 8, as shown by the arrow in Fig. 2. It exits from the side opening 2 to the outside of the cabinet body 1 through the passage formed. Since the sound pressure is once returned to the rear of the cabinet body 1 by the partition plate 8, it is possible for a certain amount of sound pressure to accumulate between the back surface of the speaker unit 12 and the reverberation plate 3. In addition, the sound emitted from the back of the speaker unit 12 is reverberated at part A of the sounding plate 3 so as to be separated into left and right sides, so that the sound emitted from the back of the speaker unit 12 is
Since it is designed not to directly interfere with the sound emitted from the back, it prevents the sounds from mixing and becoming muddy.
In other words, while preventing the sound reflected by the sound reverberation plate 3 and the sound emitted from the rear surface of the speaker unit 12 from directly colliding with each other, a certain amount of sound pressure is gradually accumulated between the back surface of the speaker unit 12 and the sound reverberation plate 3, and this space is The sound pressure that can no longer be stored in the front end of the reverberation plate 3 is pushed out by the successive sound pressures that follow, overflowing and heading rearward along the partition plate 8.

<Effects of the Invention> As described above, according to the speaker cabinet according to the present invention, the sound from the back of the speaker returns to the front side of the cabinet along the sound board, so that there is always a gap between the back of the speaker and the sound board. A certain amount of sound pressure will accumulate, so
The low frequency range does not become weak, which is a disadvantage of the back-loaded type, and since the sound board is W-shaped, the sound emitted from the back of the speaker and the sound returned by the sound board do not mix. Also, once the sound returns to the front side of the cabinet, once the sound pressure increases to a certain extent, it will gradually overflow from the gap between the front side of the cabinet and the reverberation plate, and will pass from the side of the cabinet to the main body of the cabinet along the partition plate. Because it is smooth, the sound pressure does not increase more than necessary within the cabinet itself, so it does not generate resonant chords.
It is possible to faithfully reproduce a variety of music that was not possible with conventional formats.
