Abstract

PURPOSE:To produce quickly an accurate overall drawing by inserting automatically a part of the overall drawing via an automatic correcting part for detailed drawing in case the drawing is read and the drawing data is produced. CONSTITUTION:The picture data binary coded by a drawing reading part 1 is supplied to an exterior line recognizing part 2. Then the form and the size of a pattern are extracted out of the drawing data and approximated by a straight line and a circular arc to be delivered to a recognition correcting part 3. The drawing data on the output of the part 3 is sent to an automatic correcting part 6 for detailed drawing if a detailed drawing B is partly included in an input drawing 11. The part 6 designates a specific position in an overall drawing A which is equivalent to the pattern of the drawing B. Then a part B1 which is replaced with the pattern of the drawing B is designated within the drawing A. Hereafter the data on the part B1 which is included in the data on the drawing A and designated for replacement is erased automatically together with addition of the data obtained when the pattern of the drawing B is moved to a designated position.
