止め機構に関する。

ような部材に対して通常のナツトとボルトを用い
た締結作業は困難である。従つて、片面からの固
着が可能なナツト10(本明細書ではブラインド
ナツトと称す)が使用される。このブラインドナ
ツト10は、塑性変形可能な材料から構成された
中空円筒体から成り、前方内径部に雌ねじ12が
切られ、後方端部に半径外方向へ広がるフランジ
を有する。このブラインドナツト10は、一方の
被締結部材16の取付孔へ片面から挿入した後軸
方向圧縮により、ナツトを第2図に示すように外
方へ膨出することによりカシメ固着する。その後
他方の被締結部材18を貫通させたボルト8を螺
合し、締結作業を行うようになつている。

に被締結部材を圧着保持する。この凹溝は、予め

め形成されたブラインドナツト取付孔の内周面に
接するロツド状ガイド部と、該ガイド部の後方に
配され該取付孔に挿入可能なフランジ部と、該フ
ランジ部の外周前縁部に半径外方向に突出して形
成され15〜40゜の刃先角を有する刃とから成る。

チ装置により打撃されると、切刃32が被締結部
材16の丸孔周辺部に当接し、部材16を切欠
き、丸孔を異形取付孔22とする。
