圧接する加圧ローラとのニツプ部に未定着トナー
像を担持する転写紙をトナー像が定着ローラに接
する如く通紙して定着を行なう定着装置において
、上記ローラ対のニツプ部に対する転写紙案内面
の方向が変る如く移動可能な入口ガイド板と、そ
の上流にあつて転写紙のカール方向及びカールの
量を検知する手段とを有し、該検知手段により検
知された転写紙のカール方向及びカール量に応じ
て上記の入口ガイド板をその転写紙案内方向がカ
ールした転写紙の先端をローラ対のニツプ部に挿
入可能な案内方向になる如く移動させることを特
徴とする定着装置。 (2) 上記の入口ガイド板の移動方向は転写紙の
カール方向がトナー像担持面側が凹面である場合
はその案内方向が通常の案内方向よりも加圧ロー
ラ側に案内する方向に移動しカール方向が上記と
逆の場合は定着ローラ側に案内する方向に移動す
ることを特徴とする実用新案登録請求の範囲第１
項に記載の定着装置。 (3) 上記の入口ガイド板の移動量は転写紙のカ
ールの量に応じて変化することを特徴とする実用
新案登録請求の範囲第１項又は第２項に記載の定
