Abstract

PURPOSE:To contrive a simplified construction of a paper supplying and discharging mechanism in a rotary drum recorder, by using a single member both as a squeezing member for bringing a recording paper into close contact with the drum and as a releasing member for releasing the paper from the drum. CONSTITUTION:A recording paper 2 is fed to the position A of an opened clamping pawl for the leading end of the paper by driving a registration roller 4 to make the leading end abut against the pawl, which is then closed to clamp the leading end.
