In general, many of the stereo programs of audio multiplex broadcasts are music programs, but compared to monaural broadcasts, the sound quality of music that reproduces high quality components is preferred. In other words, tastes in sound quality differ between monaural programs and stereo programs. Viewers must adjust the sound quality to suit their own preferences, depending on whether the broadcast content is stereo or monaural. Therefore, in order to eliminate such drawbacks, the present invention provides sound quality adjustment functions for stereo broadcasting and monaural broadcasting independently, adjusts each separately, and then automatically adjusts the sound quality according to the content of the feed (stereo or monaural). The purpose of this invention is to enable sound reproduction that more closely matches the viewer's preferences by switching the sound quality adjustment device.Examples of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings.

FIG. 1 shows a block diagram of a tone quality switching device according to an embodiment of the present invention. In Figure 1, 1 is a monaural sound quality adjustment device, 2 is a stereo sound quality adjustment device, 4 is a stereo/monaural discrimination circuit,
3 is a switching circuit of the sound quality adjustment device 3, 5 is a sound quality adjustment circuit, 5a is an audio signal input terminal, and 5b is an output terminal. Switching of the control signal of the sound quality adjustment circuit 5 is performed by the switching circuit 3. When monaural, the control signal from device 1 enters the sound quality adjustment circuit 5, and when stereo, the control signal from device 2 enters the sound quality adjustment circuit 5. . The initial objective can be achieved by controlling stereo and monaural using separate and different sound quality control devices.

FIG. 2 shows a specific circuit of the main part of the device shown in FIG. 1. In FIG. 2, the sound quality control circuit 5 may be a commonly used DC sound quality control circuit. In addition, the stereo/monaural discrimination circuit 4
It is sufficient to use an audio multi-modulation circuit, which is configured to output a high signal during stereo and a low signal at other times. 6 is a monaural sound quality adjustment volume, and 12 is a stereo sound quality adjustment volume. A diode 11 is connected to the movable terminal of the volumes 6 and 7, respectively.
16 anodes are connected, and the cathodes of diodes 11 and 16 are connected in common and connected to the DC sound quality adjustment terminal of the sound quality adjustment circuit 5. The collectors of transistors 10 and 17 are connected to the intersections of the volumes 6 and 7 and the cathodes of diodes 11 and 16, respectively, and collector resistors 9 and 15 are connected between the collectors and +B. Sound quality adjustment volume 6,1
Diodes 7, 8, 1 between 2 and ground, respectively.
Connect 3 and 14. Stereo volume 12
The collector of a transistor 19 is connected to the base of a transistor 17 connected to the movable terminal of the transistor 19, a resistor 18 is connected between the collector and +B, and the emitter is connected to ground. The bases of transistors 10 and 19 are connected to a stereo/monaural discrimination circuit.

With the above configuration, during stereo broadcasting, when the output of the stereo/monaural discrimination circuit 4 is at a high level, the transistor 10 is turned on and the anode of the diode 11 is lowered to a low level, so the diode 11 is cut off and the monaural signal is output. The voltage of the sound quality adjustment volume 6 is not output to the next stage sound quality adjustment circuit 5. At this time, the transistor 19 is turned on and the transistor 17 is turned off, and the voltage of the stereo sound quality adjustment volume 12 is outputted via the diode 16 to control the sound quality adjustment circuit 5. During monaural broadcasting, the output of the stereo/monaural discrimination circuit 4 is low level, so the transistor 1
0 is off, and the voltage of the monaural sound quality volume 6 controls the sound quality adjustment circuit 5 via the diode 11. At this time, transistor 19 is off and transistor 17
is turned on and the anode 16 is at a low level, so it is cut off and the voltage of the stereo sound quality volume 12 is not connected. diode 7,
8, 13, and 14 are diodes 11 or 16 even when the center point of the volume is adjusted to near ground.
is designed so that it can be turned on, and the resistor 9,1
Reference numeral 5 provides a stable collector voltage for the transistors 10 and 17.
