In order to reduce the amount of water used for washing, dry cleaning equipment has recently been adopted as washing equipment for controlled areas at nuclear facilities, replacing conventional washing with water. Instead, cleaning is performed using R113 (1-lichlorotrichloroethane, boiling point: approximately 48°C), which is an organic solvent. R113 used for cleaning is expensive and is not suitable for safety reasons. Instead of being discharged outside the device and disposed of as is, as in the case of washing with water, all of the waste is collected and reused within the device.

On the other hand, the items to be washed are mainly work clothes that are worn directly on the skin and contain a large amount of moisture such as sweat. Furthermore, since the clothes are worn by an unspecified number of people, it is necessary to dry them with hot air of 100° C. or higher in order to speed up the drying of the items to be washed and from a sanitary perspective.

However, when such high-temperature drying is performed, the wall temperature of the processing tank containing the items to be washed rises to 70 to 80 degrees Celsius, so it is necessary to replace the items to be washed and restart operation immediately after the drying process is completed. If an attempt is made to restart the process, the supplied solvent will contact the wall surface of the processing tank and evaporate rapidly, which not only increases the loss of solvent but also increases the internal pressure of the apparatus, which may cause damage. Therefore, simply increasing the drying temperature requires a cooling period before the next operation, which has the drawback of reducing the ability of the dry cleaning apparatus to process the items to be washed.

(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) The present invention attempts to solve problems in conventional dry cleaning equipment, such as damage to the equipment due to high temperature drying, loss of solvent, and reduction in processing capacity due to the cooling period. It is something.

(Function) The treatment tank, which has become hot due to high-temperature drying of the items to be washed, is rapidly cooled by the cooling water that flows through the water cooling jacket provided on the outer surface of the tank, making it possible to take out and put in the items to be washed. During this process, the temperature drops below the boiling point of the solvent.

If cooling water remains in the jacket when drying items to be washed at high temperatures, heat is absorbed by the cooling water and the drying capacity is reduced. To prevent this, drain the cooling water inside the jacket unless necessary.

(Example) An example of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. The drawing is a system diagram of a dry cleaning apparatus showing an example of the present invention. Now, the object to be washed 13 is washed in the processing drum 2 housed in the processing tank 1. The processing drum 2 is rotated by a motor (not shown) outside the processing tank at a low speed during washing and drying, and at a high speed during centrifugal removal. During washing, solvent is supplied from the solvent tank 3 into the processing tank 1 by the solvent pump 4. Also, during washing, the solvent is removed from the processing tank 1 - solvent pump 4 →
The dirt is circulated from the filter 5 to the processing tank 1, and a portion of the dirt removed from the items to be washed is captured by the filter 5. After washing, part or all of the used solvent is sent to the distiller 6, and the evaporated solvent is condensed and recovered in the condenser 7.

After the drying is completed, cooling water is passed from below into the jacket via the large mouth valve 19 by the processing tank cooling water pump 16. At this time, the vent valve 18 is opened and automatically closed when the jacket is filled with cooling water. The cooling water is discharged from the upper part of the jacket 14, passes through the cooling water tank 15, and is circulated again by the pump 16. Note that the cooling water is cooled by passing through a cooler 21 such as a chiller unit or a cleaning tower, or by providing a cooling coil 17 in the cooling water tank 15.
