板15側に帰るが、この際も多孔板15の孔を通
るものと、又桟ではねかえるものとが出来、排気
ガスの騒音は互いに複雑に干渉し合い、殆ど消音
される。この場合上記のように多孔板15の桟の
部分や遮弊板14に当り反射されてもどされた排
気ガスの騒音は新たに入つてくる排気ガスの騒音
とが互いに干渉し合い消音される。次に、これら
の騒音の小さくなつた排気ガスの騒音は、更に筒
体13の導入部10側に設けた小孔17……を通
り膨張室7内に入り膨張し、更に又多孔板6の小
孔を通り圧縮され、次の膨張室8に入り膨張し、
筒体13の小孔18……を通り排出部12より殆
ど消音されて排出されるものである。

多数の小孔17……を穿ち、他方の排出部12側
に近い部分にも多数の小孔18……を設けてなる
