It was obtained by methods such as using and measuring.

Therefore, it would be extremely desirable to be able to measure the visual field and the diameter of the pupil almost simultaneously using the same device because it would solve the above-mentioned problems.

The object of the present invention is to provide a perimeter that is equipped with a device that automatically measures the diameter of the pupil and displays the diameter on a television and/or a printer.

The eye 2 to be examined, located approximately at the center of curvature of the dome 1, aims at the designated fixed position 3, and a fixation state is formed. The image of the eye to be examined, which passes through the dome 1 and is reflected by the prism 4a of the fixation monitor section 4, enters the operation section 4b to monitor whether the fixation is set correctly and correct fixation deviations as necessary. I'm starting to do that.

It consists in measuring the pupil diameter by providing an optical system 6 consisting of lenses 6a and 6b connected to the fixation monitor section 4 and built into the housing 5, and a photoelectric element 7. That is, the image of the eye to be examined passing through the prism 4a of the fixation monitor section is magnified by the lenses 6a and 6b, and the magnified image is projected onto the photoelectric element 7. In the optical system, the pupil area is particularly enlarged.
Further, in the case of the photoelectric element 7, the pupil portion and other portions are distinguished from the projected magnified image of the subject's eye, and the analog output of the portion can be measured based on the amount of charge in the pupil portion. . This analog output is converted into a digital output by the A/D converter 8, and the pupil diameter is calculated by the calculator 9 based on the digital output. The calculator 9 is automatically operated by the fixation monitor unit while the fixation monitor unit 4 confirms that the subject's eye is correctly collimated to the designated fixation position and the fixation state is set. An instruction signal is sent to calculate the pupil diameter. The calculated result will be displayed on the display device 10 consisting of a television 10a and a printer 10b.

を付設した視野計として極めて有用である。 Since the present invention is based on the above configuration,
It can be confirmed that the subject's eye is set in a fixation state on the fixation monitor section installed outside the drum, and the pupil is enlarged by the optical system and photoelectric element that are arranged in conjunction with the fixation monitor section. The diameter is measured at the same time, so for the subject, two tests can be done with one device, which significantly reduces fatigue and increases the reliability of the measurement data. It has the following advantages and is extremely useful as a perimeter meter equipped with a new device.
