Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the pump-occupying-space by providing a pump equipment in a through hole, which is located close to the bottom of the bulkhead partitioning water passages and providing a gate valve means so that it can freely move up and down together with driving the pump by using a motor placed on the ground line. CONSTITUTION:A through hole 3 is made in a bulkhead 1, which partitions a water passage A from a water passage B, at a level close to the bottom of the bulkhead 1 in order to provide an inlet-bellmouth therethrough. The water passage B is provided with a gate-valve means 5 with a pump impeller 17 in such a manner that the means 5 can freely move up and down. The pump impeller 17 is driven via a motor, a speed change gear, a spline shaft 20, etc. With this contrivance, drainage pump equipment can be completed by only ensuring a space for installing the gate valve, without necessitating special drainage-passage or piping.

Conventionally, when the water level on the downstream side of a drainage channel rises, backflow of water occurs, so a partition wall is provided, an opening is provided in a part of the partition wall, and a gate valve is attached to the opening to prevent backflow. On the other hand, water on the upstream side will be drained by a pump at a separate drainage pump station, using piping equipment separate from the gate.

By the way, when the water level on the downstream side becomes lower than the water level on the first stream side, the pump at the drainage pump station is stopped, the gate valve is opened, and the water is drained by natural flow.

As mentioned above, in the past, it was necessary to construct a drainage pump station separately, which meant that the construction cost was large, and the pump was installed at the drainage pump station, so even if it was not in regular use, it would not come in contact with water. However, there are drawbacks such as shortened pump life and maintenance cycles.

The present invention aims to eliminate the above-mentioned drawbacks; there is no need for a dedicated drainage pump station, no separate drainage channels or piping, and the drainage pump device can be completed by simply installing a gate valve. Moreover, in the case of natural flow due to normal water level difference, by raising the gate valve by -1, the pump impeller also comes out of the water into the air, which extends the life of the pump. It also has advantages such as easy maintenance.

In each figure, reference numeral 1 denotes a partition wall that partitions the upstream waterway A and the downstream waterway B, and is fixedly installed in a height range from the bottom 2 of the waterway to the ground. Reference numeral 3 denotes a through hole formed near the lower bottom surface of the partition wall 1, and a suction bell mouth 4 is fixedly protruding from the through hole toward the flow A. A gate valve means 5 equipped with a pump impeller is provided toward the downstream side B so as to be movable up and down.

To be more specific, 6 is a gate valve body with a through hole S equivalent to the through hole 3, 7 is a pair of support rods that support this, and 7 is a pair of support rods, one end of which is connected to the ground. A male screw P is screwed in the upper half of the length reaching up to -, and the transmissions 9 and 9' are respectively screwed together and rotated on the base plate 8 on the ground. 10.11.12 and 13 are the prime mover, speed reducer, universal joint, and universal shaft that make up the rotation.

On the other hand, 15 is a pump casing formed to protrude toward the downstream side B of the waterway of the gate valve body 6, and a pump impeller is connected to the pump casing via a transmission 16 which is rotated with a spline shaft described below. A wheel 17 is attached to the pump casing 15, and a check valve I8 is vertically provided on the front surface of the pump casing 15 from an upper position via a hinge 19 so as to be openable and closable. 2
0 is a spline shaft for rotating gear means in the transmission 16, and is protruded toward the ground, and the upper part of the shaft rotates the inside of the transmission 21 provided on the platform 8 on the ground. 22, 23 and 24 of the transmission 21. These are a prime mover, a shaft coupling, and a water shaft for rotating the gear means.

As shown in the figure, the gate valve body 6 is pulled up to one side by -1 by the drive of the prime mover 10, and due to the water level difference between the upstream A side of the waterway and the downstream B side of the waterway, water flows through the suction bell mouth 4 and naturally flows down to the downstream B side of the waterway. .

On the other hand, when the water level on the 1st stream A side of the waterway rises, the gate valve body 6 is lowered, and when the shaft center is aligned with the suction bell mouth 4, the prime mover 10 is driven, and the pump impeller 1
7 is rotated so that forced discharge is performed from the upstream A side of the waterway to the downstream B side of the waterway.

In addition, in the present invention, the water level on the 1st stream A side of the waterway does not increase, but if the water level on the downstream B side of the waterway increases (due to the seawater tide level, etc.), the rotation of the pump impeller 17 will decrease. At this time, the check valve 18 closes and the water on the downstream B side of the waterway does not flow back to the waterway A side.

The present invention is constructed as described above, and can be completed as a drainage pump device by simply requiring a space for installing a gate valve without requiring any special drainage channels or piping, resulting in low equipment costs. However, if natural flow is still occurring due to the normal water level difference, raise the gate valve so that the pump impeller also comes out of the water into the air, extending the life of the pump, and also allowing it to flow out into the air.
