るとともに、各モードに対応したモード信号を出
力する駆動部と、 磁気ヘツド出力に基づいて磁気テープ上の記録
部分の有無を検出して対応する有無検出信号を出
力する検出部と、 前記モード信号および前記有無検出信号に基づ
いて、早送りモードで前記磁気テープの無記録部
分が所定時間以上続いたときに、データの書込み
が可能な無記録部分であるとして無記録部分検出
信号を出力する無記録部分検出部と、 前記モード信号および前記有無検出信号に基づ
いて、巻戻しモードで磁気テープの記録部分を検
出して記録部分検出信号を出力する記録部分検出
部と、 前記モード信号に基づいて、再生モードが所定
時間行なわれたときに、磁気テープの走行を停止
させるための停止信号を出力する停止信号出力部
と、 前記操作部の操作に応答して、早送りモードに
するための第１制御信号を、前記無記録部分検出
