Claims (1)
性保持リングを嵌着して、触媒担体の径方向の弾
性支持をすると共に、弾性保持リングをハウジン
グに設けた係止体によつて係止するようにした内
燃機関排気ガス触媒保持装置において、ハウジン
グ１をその長手方向に沿つて二つに分割し、分割
面に沿つて結合フランジ４，５を設け、ハウジン
グ１の内周面に、ハウジングの長手方向を向く多
数の半円錐状又は角錐状の爪９又は１２を突出さ
せた複数個の帯板状係止体８を、爪の向きが逆向
きになるように溶接してなり、ハウジング１内に
触媒担体６を装着して結合フランジ４，５を結合
したとき、爪９又は１２が弾性保持リング７にお
い込むようにしたことを特徴とする内燃機関排気
