(Prior art) Before this application, there existed a ball chain made entirely of synthetic resin, in which the string was made of twisted chemical fibers made of synthetic resin, and ball-shaped elements of synthetic resin material were fixed at equal intervals to the string. Technological means for making this into a ring-shaped ball chain include long strings made by heat-sealing both ends of a single string, or splitting a ball-shaped element in half at the fused part of the string. There were pieces that were joined and welded together from the top and bottom or from the left and right,
The appearance was not very good, and the bonding strength of the strings could not be said to be sufficient. On the other hand, for example,
In the device described in Utility Model Publication No. 65050, in which small spheres are fixed by heat fusion on a string body made entirely of synthetic resin material, the string body is made into a loop and attached to both ends of the string body. It is known that the ends of the string main body are connected by heat-sealing a small sphere to the string body, and the small sphere is fixed. That is, in this case, both ends of the string body are not joined by means such as direct heat fusion, but both ends of the string body are individually heat fused to the small spheres. Since they are indirectly bonded via so-called small spheres to form an annular ball chain, the bonding strength of the heat-sealed portion tends to be uneven.
Furthermore, when heat-sealing ready-made small spheres onto both ends of the string, there was a risk that the ends of the string body and the small spheres would be thermally deformed, and this was considered to be a problem from an aesthetic point of view.

(Purpose of the invention) The present invention solves the above-mentioned problems of the conventional technology, has sufficient bonding strength, and has a shape that is exactly the same as the ball of the element fixed to the other part of the annular body at the connecting part of the string. To provide a synthetic resin ball chain with excellent appearance, in which balls of the same size are arranged.

(Structure of the invention) Hereinafter, embodiments of the invention will be described with reference to the drawings. In Figure 1, 1 is a thin synthetic resin ball chain string of an appropriate length made of twisted yarn spun from chemical fibers made of thermoplastic synthetic resin materials such as polyamide and polyester. 2a and 2b are the abutting ends of both ends of the string 1, and FIG. 1 shows the abutting ends immediately before butting, but FIG. 2 shows the two after butting. Similarly, the butt part is fused using an ultrasonic welder or other heat fusion device (not shown) to form the butt fused part 3, and at the same time, the string 1 forms the annular string 4. do. 5, the string 1 is made in advance by injection molding etc. before the both ends 2a and 2b of the string 1 are butted and fused.
Balls made of synthetic resin material such as polyacetal or polyamide are fixed at equal intervals to the annular string 4, and 6 in FIG. Ball 5 formed according to
The butt-fusion ball has the same shape and size as the annular string 4, the ball 5, and the butt-fusion ball 6.
A synthetic resin annular ball chain A is constructed by the following. Since the synthetic resin annular ball chain A of the present invention has the above configuration, the annular string 4
The butt-fused portion 3 fuses the ends together and becomes a single piece by thermal melting based on the thermoplasticity of the thermoplastic synthetic resin material, which is itself a chemical fiber material, and is connected to the twisted yarn portion of the string. Although approximately the same tensile strength can be maintained, in the present invention, the synthetic resin melted when forming the butt weld ball 6 by injection molding around the butt weld part 3 and the strings 1 on the front and back thereof. The material surrounds the butt-fused portion 3 and the strings 1 before and after it, and a portion of the molten synthetic resin material penetrates into the fiber structure of the string 1 itself and solidifies, thereby creating a butt-fused portion. ball 6
This results in a strong connection and fixation with the butt-fused portion 3 and the strings 1 before and after it, and it can be said that the bonding strength of the annular string 4 of the butt-fused portion 3 is enhanced. Next, for reference, FIGS. 4A to 4C illustrate the state of ball formation by injection molding of the butt fusion part ball 6 to the butt fusion part 3. In Figures 4a, b, and c, 7 is the upper mold of the injection mold installed in the synthetic resin injection molding machine, 8 is the lower mold, and 9 is the upper mold and the lower mold. a female mold of the engraved butt fusion ball 6;
Reference numeral 10 denotes a hole for injecting hot molten synthetic resin material into the female mold, 11 a receiving part on the mold side connected to a molten synthetic resin material supply part of the injection molding machine main body (not shown), and 12
13 is a holding groove of the annular string 4, which is molded and fixed in advance to the annular string 4 formed on the upper mold 7 and the lower mold 8 by separate injection molding. In the above configuration, the annular string 4 is attached to the lower die 8 of FIG. 4a.
, and the butt fusion part 3 thereof is placed approximately in the center of the female mold 9, and then the two holding grooves arranged on both sides of the female mold 9 of the lower mold 8 of FIG. 4b are placed. Ball 5 for each of the 12
When the two balls 5 are fitted, these two balls 5 will play a role in positioning during molding, so the butt-fused portion 3
is automatically positioned approximately at the center of the female mold 9. Next, as shown in FIG. 4c, with the upper and lower molds 7 and 8 joined and held together, a molten synthetic resin material is injected and press-fitted into the female mold 9 through the injection hole 10, as described above. Since the butt fusion ball 6 is formed at the butt fusion part 3, the butt fusion part 3 will firmly adhere to the annular string 4 when it is removed from the mold and cooled, as described above. Thus, the ball formation by injection molding of the synthetic resin annular ball chain A of the present invention is completed.

(Effect of the invention) The present invention has the above-mentioned structure and operation, and in particular, the butt-fused part balls 6 are formed around the butt-fused part 3 of the annular string 4 and the front and rear strings 1 by injection molding. As a result, the connection strength of the annular strings 4 is significantly improved compared to the case where only the strings are connected by heat fusion, and the connecting portion of the annular strings, which was conventionally exposed, is bonded to the butt-fused ball. 6, it is possible to create an extremely elegant appearance as a circular ball chain, and it can be used for curtains, blinds, etc.
It is useful as a synthetic resin annular ball chain for opening and closing operations in so-called interior goods such as sunshades.
