A reactor containment vessel is adopted in which the suppression chamber is shaped like a doughnut and is placed outside the drywell, and the inside of the drywell and the suppression chamber are connected by multiple vent pipes. Conventionally, in a boiling water reactor, as shown in FIG. 1, the suppression chamber a and the torus chamber wall b in the reactor building are assembled separately. Therefore, a dedicated work scaffold c for constructing the torus room wall b was temporarily installed in the torus room, and the work scaffold c was removed after the construction of the torus room wall b. Furthermore, since the assembly of the suppression chamber a and the construction of the torus chamber wall b are completely different operations, conventionally the timing of the operations has been staggered. d is a dry well, and e is a reactor building mat.

Therefore, on-site construction takes a lot of time, which ultimately leads to a longer construction period for the reactor construction itself.
Furthermore, it is necessary to temporarily construct and remove the work scaffold c for constructing the torus chamber wall b on site, which causes an extension of the work time on site.

The present invention aims to shorten the reactor construction process by constructing the suppression chamber and the torus chamber wall in parallel. At the time of manufacturing or on the ground at the site, a partition that will serve as a partition wall during work on site and a work scaffold used for construction of the torus room wall are attached to this block.
The present invention is characterized in that when the blocks are assembled on site and the suppression chamber is installed, the torus chamber wall is constructed in parallel using the scaffold.

2 and 3 show examples of the present invention, in which the suppression chamber 1 is manufactured as a plurality of blocks 1a in a factory, and the blocks 1a of the chamber 1 are assembled on site to suppress the suppression chamber 1. When constructing the tension chamber 1, the present invention provides that each block 1a is
A curing partition 3 is attached to the outside surface of the block 1a so that the on-site assembly of the block 1a and the construction of the torus chamber wall 2 can be carried out in parallel. Attach work scaffolding 4 for the construction work in step 2. When the partition 3 and the work scaffold 4 are integrally attached to the block 1a at the factory and the block 1a is manufactured in this way, the block 1a is then transported to the site and each block 1a is assembled as shown in FIG. They are sequentially joined and assembled as shown in the figure, and then installed on the reactor building mat 6 via the legs 5. In parallel with this assembly work,
The construction work of the torus chamber wall 2 is simultaneously progressed using the work scaffold 4 already attached to each block 1a. Further, the block 1a of the suppression chamber 1 and the dry well 7 are connected through a vent pipe 8. The work of assembling the block 1a and the work of constructing the torus chamber wall 2 are completely different works, and since these works are performed in close proximity, there are dangers and adverse effects such as affecting each other's work. 3, such adverse effects can be prevented, the suppression chamber 1 can be protected, and both operations can be performed in parallel.

Blocks 1a are carried in sequentially as described above.
Simultaneously with the assembly work of the chamber wall 2 using the work scaffold 4 attached to the blocks 1a that are being assembled in sequence, the construction work of the donut-shaped suppression chamber 1 can be done in parallel. As the construction work of the torus chamber wall 2 progresses, the reactor containment vessel torus chamber can be constructed efficiently.

As explained above, according to the construction method of the present invention, when a suppression chamber block is manufactured in a factory, partitions and work scaffolding are attached to the block, and the work of assembling the block at the site is completed. Since the construction of the torus chamber walls using work scaffolding is carried out in parallel, both of the above works can be started immediately in parallel without any preliminary work required on site, shortening the construction period and reducing the It is possible to shorten the construction work of the entire furnace, and also to omit the work of temporarily constructing a work scaffold for the torus chamber wall construction work, thereby shortening the construction period and improving work safety.
