Prior Art Conventionally, as a sealing structure for a bolt fastening part, as described in Japanese Patent Publication No. 45-34533, a seal ring is attached to a circumferential groove provided in the lower shaft part of the bolt neck.
A structure is known in which a bolt hole is sealed between a bolt hole and a shaft portion, and a structure is known in which a seal ring is sandwiched between a lower surface of a bolt head and a member to be joined to seal a bolt hole. However, in the former structure, the seal ring is installed below the bolt neck, allowing water, water vapor, etc. to enter into the bolt hole, and in the latter structure, the seal ring is installed directly below the bolt neck. Because it is compressed, the seal ring may be crushed or crushed if the bolt is tightened with high tightening force.
It cannot be used because it causes variations in the tightening force. Furthermore, a structure in which a metal ring is used in combination with a seal ring as described in British Patent No. 831874 is also known, but if the bolt tightening force is too large, the metal ring will wear out, making it impossible to securely fasten the bolt. It disappears.

In addition, universal joints for rolling mill drive rolls are exposed to a large amount of high-temperature cooling water and are used in an atmosphere of large amounts of steam, resulting in the problem that the case fixing bolts are susceptible to corrosion. There is. This corrosion causes stress corrosion due to the strong fastening force, leading to early damage and breakage of the bolt.

As a countermeasure against such corrosion, it is possible to use stainless steel bolts, but this has problems in terms of cost and processing, and is not versatile. Furthermore, especially in locations where high tension is required, there is a problem in terms of strength, which is undesirable.

On the other hand, in bolted parts, no matter how strong the bolt tightening force is, sometimes the shaft-side end surface of the bolt head and its fastening seat surface, and the joint surfaces of the fastened parts do not come into perfect contact. many. This is because a minute gap or a minute gap due to uneven contact occurs between the respective surfaces due to the finish roughness of the end surface, the seat surface, and the joint surface, uneven loads acting on the fastened members, etc. When exposed to a large amount of water, when a large amount of water vapor is generated, when used in a high-pressure steam atmosphere, etc., water can easily enter through the minute gaps and corrode the bolt, especially if the fastening force is too high. When this occurs, stress corrosion becomes a problem.

Structure and Function of the Invention The present invention fixes a seal ring to the neck of the bolt and the shank of the bolt facing the joining area of the fastened members, and connects the opening of the bolt hole into which the bolt is inserted and the joining area. It is characterized in that it is completely sealed by a seal ring, completely preventing corrosive factors such as water and steam from entering the bolt hole.

In the above, a flexible elastic material such as rubber or synthetic resin is used around the entire circumference of the neck portion 7a of the bolt shaft portion 7 that is continuous with the bolt head 6 and the bolt shaft portion 7b that faces the joint portion 9 of the fastened members 2 and 3. The seal rings 8 and 10 made of the above are fixed, and the entire circumference of the opening 4a of the bolt hole 4 and the entire circumference of the joint portion 9 are completely sealed by the seal rings 8 and 10.

As shown in detail in FIG. 2, the seal rings 8 and 10 are cylindrical bodies with a certain length in the axial direction, and the outer diameter of the center part in the axial direction is larger than the outer diameter of both ends in the axial direction. The outer circumferential surface thereof is formed into a swollen shape with a cross-sectional arc shape so that the bolt hole 4 is enlarged, and the axial center portion is tightly fitted with at least the inner diameter surface of the bolt hole 4 with an appropriate degree of interference. The neck portion 7a and shaft portion 7b are vulcanized and bonded together. Further, the seal rings 8 and 10 may be molded separately, fitted onto a predetermined position of a bolt, and connected by burning, adhesion, or the like.

Effects of the invention The invention of the present application has the above-mentioned configuration, and completely seals the entire inner circumference of the bolt hole at the open end for bolt insertion and the joint portion of the fastened member with a seal ring fixed to the bolt. Because it is a thing,
To completely prevent moisture from entering a bolt hole in a part used in irrigation with a large amount of water, or in a high-temperature steam or high-pressure steam atmosphere, and to extremely effectively prevent bolt corrosion.

Therefore, we have solved various problems in terms of cost, strength, and processing that are caused by using stainless steel bolts, and we have created bolts using inexpensive and strong steel materials, especially universal ones for rolling mill drive rolls. It is suitable for parts that require strong fastening force, such as joint cases, and because the seal structure is simple, it can be adapted to use in an extremely wide range of fields.

Moreover, the seal ring on the neck is fitted around the entire inner circumference of the opening end of the bolt hole into which the bolt is inserted, and the seal ring on the bolt shaft is fitted around the entire inner circumference of the joint area. However, it is not directly compressed when the bolt is tightened, so the seal ring will not be crushed and the bolt tightening force will not vary.

Furthermore, since a seal ring is fixed to the neck of the bolt and the bolt shaft facing the joint part of the fastened parts, by inserting the bolt into the bolt hole and tightening it, the opening end of the bolt hole and the joint are connected. A seal ring is positioned at the area to ensure sealing at the required area.

Furthermore, the seal ring is a cylindrical body, and
Since it is fixed to the bolt, there is no need to process grooves or steps for attaching the seal to the fastened part, or a seal ring holder, so a bolt hole is formed in the fastened part. Moreover, it is highly versatile because it can be sealed simply by inserting and tightening the bolt.

In addition, the seal rings 8 and 10 are made into cylindrical bodies, and the axially central portion of the outer circumferential surface of the seal rings 8 and 10 is swollen. This makes it easy to insert bolts into bolt holes, and at the same time, the seal rings and bolt holes can be easily inserted. The seal ring maintains an appropriate clearance between the bolts, and the end of the seal ring does not roll up when inserting the bolt, making bolt tightening work easier and eliminating the risk of deteriorating the sealing function.
