DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention uses four pieces of trapezoidal material as one unit, which are formed by cutting a board-shaped wood plate having a substantially rectangular shape with a width larger than its thickness.
When assembling the trapezoidal material to have a square cross section, a spacer is interposed on each of the contact surfaces, and one of the opposing spacers is formed of a continuous piece, the contact surfaces are bonded to make the inside hollow, and This relates to a method of manufacturing square timber with a large peripheral length, which reduces the amount of waste, increases the yield by making the interior hollow, and increases its strength by reducing the occurrence of distortion. Furthermore, it is possible to obtain a hollow rectangular material with a wide cross section that can be easily produced with different outer diameter dimensions, cross-sectional shapes, and cross-sectional areas depending on the purpose of use.

First, the method for manufacturing the trapezoidal material used in the present invention will be explained with reference to FIG. 1 is the four sides a,
At least one pair of opposing sides a, b in b, c, d are parallel, and the dimensions of the sides are set to the other sides c, d.
A board-shaped piece of wood whose entire cross section is approximately a quadrilateral, including a larger rectangle, or where the above sides c and d are arbitrary shaped lines, and this is defined as the above two parallel sides a. , b by diagonal lines e 1 , e 2 , e 3 . However, by sequentially changing the direction of the diagonal lines in the left and right directions, that is, by alternating the directions of the diagonal lines in the forward and reverse directions, the long side A and the short side B of the trapezoidal material can be arranged alternately on the respective sides a and b. By forcing the cut surfaces to form, no waste material other than sawdust is generated between the cut surfaces. Incidentally, the above-mentioned plate-shaped wood may be made by laminating a large number of thin boards, and furthermore, each of the above-mentioned trapezoidal materials 2, 2, etc. is made such that its long side A and short side B are equal as shown in the figure. However, it is also possible to form two or more types with different sizes.

Next, as shown in FIG. 2, the trapezoidal materials 2, 2...
By joining these four pieces into a single body using the cutting diagonal lines e 1 , e 2 . However, this square piece 4 can be made into a substantially square piece as shown in the figure when the above four pieces of material are of the same shape, but the long and short sides of one pair of facing pieces are When the dimensions of the long and short sides are different, the formed square piece can be formed into a substantially rectangular shape. In addition, as shown in a partially cross-sectional view, dowels 5 may be interposed between the bonding surfaces in an appropriate direction, and furthermore, a decorative board 6 may be attached to the outer surface of the square timber 4.

An embodiment of the present invention will be explained below with reference to FIG. 3. All four pieces of trapezoidal material 2 are cut along the diagonal line e 1 ,
A spacer 7 of an appropriate thickness is interposed between e 2 , and a member 9 is formed to pass through a hollow portion of the shape in which one of the opposing spacers 7 is connected.
By bonding the contact surfaces of e 1 and e 2 with the spacer 7 and the member 9 to combine them into a single body, a hollow portion 3 is formed inside.
A square timber 8 is formed. If the externally exposed surfaces of the spacer 7 and the member 9 are rounded 7' to have an arcuate cross section, a deformed square member as shown in FIG. 4 can be formed. Further, as shown in a partial cross section, dowels 5 may be interposed between the adhesive surfaces in an appropriate direction, and a decorative board 6 may be attached to the outer surface of the square timber 8.

As described above, according to the present invention, at least one set of substantially quadrangular wooden boards with two opposing sides parallel to each other are formed at an angle of 45 degrees with respect to the two parallel sides, and the directions are alternately forward and backward. A large number of trapezoidal materials are continuously formed by cutting along different diagonal lines.
However, these four pieces of material are made into a unit, each cut surface is used as an adhesive surface, and a spacer is interposed between each adhesive surface to combine them into a single unit, thereby manufacturing a single hollow square timber. Therefore, only the two ends (shown as triangles at the left end of Figure 1) are discarded, and therefore the dimensions of a pair of parallel sides of the original approximately square plank wood are different from each other. The longer the length of the wood is than the two sides, the smaller the ratio of the above-mentioned waste portion becomes. In addition to making the inside hollow, compared to cutting the wood into a rectangle and joining four pieces together, the formed square lumber It is possible to obtain a square lumber with a large cross section by increasing the length of each side of the wood, making it possible to use the wood effectively, and by joining the four pieces of material and interposing a spacer between the bonding surfaces, various wood grains can be combined, Furthermore, since one of the opposing spacers is formed of a member that penetrates the hollow part, even if the square timber becomes long, there will be no distortion or distortion in the length direction, and there will be no distortion or distortion in the length direction against bending or other external forces. The strength is greatly increased, and by using splicing material in the hollow part, it can be easily added to make a long piece into a square piece, or by adjusting the spacing along diagonal lines when cutting a board-shaped piece of wood, it can be made into a rectangular cross section. It is possible to make square timbers with outer diameter dimensions, cross-sectional shapes, and cross-sectional areas according to the purpose of use, such as square timbers, and by interposing spacers of appropriate thickness between two pairs of opposing adhesive surfaces of the square timbers. By making the outer diameter dimension, cross-sectional shape, and cross-sectional area adjustable over a wide range, and by connecting a pair of opposing spacers, the mechanical strength of the hollow square timber is dramatically increased, expanding the range of use. It has various effects such as being able to measure the
